Children Of The Damned
Grams: "Focus. Visualize it in your head." she tells Aspen who sits at a table with a flower in front of her
Aspen: "We've been at this for hours. Is my head supposed to hurt like this?" she groans in annoyance
Grams: "You're not trying hard enough."
Aspen: "What's the point of wilting and growing a flower? What does that do?"
Grams: "You carry both good and evil magic inside of you. You need to learn to balance the two out so that no side takes over the other."
Aspen: "But if it's choosing between good and evil shouldn't I be wanting the good side to overpower the evil?"
Grams: "In theory, yes. It's a lot more complicated than that. In order to fully reach your potential you need to have both sides of your powers be at one with each other. They will highlight each other's strengths and will pick up where the other's have weaknesses."
Aspen: "And working on a flower does that?"
Grams: "You're practicing. Giving both sides the necessary exposure they need. Now, focus. See the petals begin to fold into themselves." she says and Aspen takes a breath and closes her eyes, and holds her hands out towards the flower. After a moment she opens her eyes to see the flower still the same and she sighs, leaning back into the couch with a defeated look on her face
Aspen: "Nothing."
Grams: "You give up too easily."
Aspen: "I begged to differ. Have you met me?"
Bonnie: "So...what do you think?" she comes into the room and shows them her outfit
Aspen: "Nice. Ben's going to have trouble keeping his eyes off of you."
Bonnie: "Thanks."
Grams: "Don't be out too long. We still have a lot of work to do."
Bonnie: "I won't. Be back in a few." she smiles and walks out the house
Aspen: "Since we're obviously gonna be here a while can I at least go and get some food. It'll take me 20 minutes tops." she pleads
Grams: "Go on. Hurry back." she motions her to the door and shakes her head a little in amusement at her when seeing her quickly stand up from her spot and hurry out the house
🔘
Bonnie: "I thought Grams had you on lockdown." she comes over to where Aspen is standing in the back of the Grill
Aspen: "Food break. So how's that going?" she motions over to where Ben is sitting
Bonnie: "It's going great. He's a perfect gentleman."
Aspen: "Gentleman, huh?" she gives her a teasing look
Bonnie: "I know! Boring, huh? I just want to grab him and lay one on him."
