"I have to be honest about something." Puck said as he looked up from his laptop.

Quinn's stomach flipped as she immediately thought the worst. "Y-Yeah?"

"I kinda found this place." Puck told Quinn. "And I kinda went to it, and I kinda put down a deposit."

Quinn furrowed her eyebrow. "You what?"

"I know. I knew you would get mad, but I just thought the price was right and when you see it, I think you'll love it." Puck promised.

"I'm not mad." Quinn said. "Well, I might be. But I wanna see it."

"It's gonna need a little bit of work, but it's only a few blocks away." Puck told Quinn. "And it's a one bedroom apartment with a full kitchen, living room space, and dining room."

Quinn nodded. "Let's go see it this weekend."

"Okay." Puck agreed.

"I'm not mad." Quinn promised. "I actually think it's really sweet how excited you are to move in together."

Puck smiled slightly and shrugged. "I just wanna be there. For both of you."

"I wanna be there for you, too." Quinn smiled. "And I wanna help with finances and stuff."

"Q." Puck said.

"When we find a daycare for Beth, I'm gonna get a job so I can contribute more." Quinn promised. "I want to."

"Alright." Puck gave in. "But don't overdo it. You have a bright future ahead of you and if you're not gonna have time for school, work, Beth, and me, I'd rather you let me worry about money."

Quinn bit her lip. "I'll be fine."

Puck looked at Quinn. "I know, but I don't mind working so you can focus on school."

"You're smart, too, Noah." Quinn reminded him. "Just as smart as me. You could go to college, you know."

Puck nodded. "One day at a time, babe."

"I love you." Quinn reminded him.

"I love you, Quinn."
