Part 70

Emily Prentiss' POV

"Where am I?" I ask, blinded by the lights.

"At the hospital. It's okay, honey," Aaron says.

He's crying.

"Why am I here?"

I put my hand on my stomach, I feel a big scar.

"The baby! My little baby!" I scream as I get up in my bed.

"It's okay. The baby is safe. The baby's watching us. You got caught by the Unsub."

"Where's the baby?" I say, crying.

"In Heaven, sweetie. In Heaven."

I start crying. I see that everyone's there, except JJ.

"Does she got caught her too?"

"Who?"

"JJ."

"No, she gave birth to two gorgeous babies," Penelope exclaims.

"Twins?"

"Yeah. We discovered it during the birth," Reid declares.

"Can I see her?"

"She's sleeping, but I can go see what I can do."

Reid goes out.

"I lost my baby... I left my baby..."

"It's not your fault. Emily, it's not your fault," Aaron declares.

Some nurses come in with JJ's hospital bed and two hospital cradles.

"Emily," JJ says.

She seems so tired but relieved.

"They are too small!" I say as I see the babies.

"They are two months earlier," she replies.

She signals to Spencer to give her the babies.

"Here's Jaeden Spencer Reid and Hope Jennifer Reid."

"May I... May I hold them?"

"Of course."

"Why won't we get something to eat?" Derek says.

"I think that JJ needs to talk to Hotch and Emily," Penelope declares.

All the team gets out, except Aaron and me. The babies are so cute! One begins to cry, so I give back the babies to JJ.

"Hotch, can you put him in his cradle while I breastfeed Hope?"

"Sure."

Aaron puts Jaeden in his cradle.

"What do you have to tell us?" I ask.

"Emily. Would you be Hope's godmother?"

"Of course, I want to!"

"And Hotch. Would you be Hope's godfather?"

"Sure!"

"Who are Jaeden's godmother and godfather?"

"Penelope and Derek," she says, smiling.
