Jennifer Jareau's POV

We arrive at the hospital. Spencer tells a nurse to come.

"I can't give birth right now! I'm only... phew... seven months pregnant! Phew..."

"Just breathe," the nurse says.

I sit in a wheelchair.

"We're going to the labor room. It'll be okay," the nurse says.

"Spence... phew... come, please."

Spencer follows us. He seems a little bit nervous.

We arrive in the labor room. Spencer and the nurse help me to lay down on the bed. It begins to hurt a lot.

"So, I'm just gonna see if the baby is okay," the nurse says.

She pulls up my hospital gown. She puts some gel on my belly, and then she passes the probe over it.

"Okay, you're ready to give birth," the nurse says.

She calls a doctor to come, and the doctor arrives with a few nurses.

The doctor looks in a file.

"So, Jennifer. You're seven months pregnant, right?"

"Yeah... phew... phew..."

"The contractions are...?"

"Five minutes," a nurse responds.

"Okay, so get ready because your baby arrives now," the doctor says.

"But I can't! Phew... phew... I'm only seven months pregnant!"

"Jennifer, push in five, four, three, two, one, now!"

I squeeze Spencer's hand, and I push. It hurts a lot.

"Like that Jennifer. Take a breath. And push in five, four, three, two, one, now!"

I push.

"You're doing a great job, Jennifer. Continue like that. Five, four, three, two, one, now!"

I push again.

"Well, I see his hair. Five, four, three, two, one, now!"

I push again.

"AAAAAAH! I HATE YOU MR. REID!" I scream as I feel a big contraction.

"You're doing it great, sweetie. Continue like that," he replies.

"Five, four, three, two, one, now!"

I push again.

"I see the head. Continue, Five, four, three, two, one, now!"

"I can't!"

"Yes, you can honey," Spencer says, trying to do his best.

I push again.

"Push one last time. Five, four, three, two, one, now!

I push for the last time.

"It's finished," the doctor says.

But I don't feel better. The contractions are continuing.

I don't hear my baby crying. The nurses seem worried. They take the baby, and they go out.

"What's... phew... phew... wrong with my baby?"

"It's okay. They take care of him," Spencer says.

"Is it normal... phew... that I continue... phew... to feel the contractions?"

The doctor quickly puts gel on my belly, and he puts the probe on it.

"Well. You were pregnant with twins! You have a little girl who's coming!"

I look at Spencer, and I try to smile a little bit.

"Okay, so we're going to restart. Push in five, four, three, two, one, now!"

I push.

"AAAAAAAAAAH! I HATE YOU MORE!" I scream.

"Okay, I see the head. Continue, five, four, three, two, one, now!"

I push.

"Okay, push one last time."

"Can I... phew... trust you... phew... this time?"

"Yeah. Five, four, three, two, one, now!"

I push for the last time as I feel the worst contraction.

I don't hear her screaming as her brother. A nurse goes out with my little girl.

I lay down on the bed, sighing.

"That's okay, Jennifer. The babies are fine. I'm sure."
