Emily Prentiss' POV
I lead to Hotch's office. I pass in front of JJ's office. She's looking out the window. I silently enter, and I approach her. I put my hand on her shoulder. She turns back.
"Are you okay?" I ask.
"Yes, I am," she says wiping her tears.
"No, you're not. What's going on?"
"Do you remember when I collapsed?"
"Yeah, I do."
"I lied."
"About what?"
"I was pregnant, I had a miscarriage."
"Why didn't you tell us?"
"I was scared."
"But there is something else."
"I'm pregnant."
"But... That's great! Congratulations JJ! Does Spencer know it?"
"Yeah, of course. But you're the second person to know it."
"Will you announce it to the rest of the team?"
"I don't know."
"You should. It will remove you a weight from your shoulders."
She restarts to cry. She sits on the small couch and I sit at her right. She snuggles up to me and I hug her tight, repeating to her that it'll be alright. She continues to cry, and I feel her tears flowing over my shirt.
