Cassie wakes up the next day and notices Kol isn't beside her so she sits up and sees a note on the bedside table she picks it up.

Darling,

I didn't want to wake you but I have a few errands to run today, I'll call you later and tell you where to meet me and we will continue our trip around the world.

Kol

Cassie can't help but smile at the note so she just decided to relax for a while it's been a while since she's been able to just stay in bed, while she's been home and just relax, so she flips the tv on and pulls up her Netflix account and turns on her favorite show of all time Criminal Minds of course.

Cassie manages to not leave the room for a few hours binge-watching her show until she hears Klaus yell from downstairs "Enough of this foolishness. Put it down, Kol."

She presses pause and makes her way downstairs only to see Kol gone and Klaus and Rebekah looking at each other "He was going to kill me!"

Klaus shrugs with a smirk "Well, then, I think you need a lesson in how to properly dagger a sibling."

Rebekah glares at him "Burn in hell." She turns and leaves the house.

Cassie crosses her arms over her chest giving the original hybrid a look "you know Kol's only lashing out because he's scared... but none of you would know the difference between him lashing out for attention or because he's scared or because he's completely lost it would you? It all looks the same to you... but just take a minute to think about this Nikky, if Kol of all people is scared of something then damn near everybody should be afraid because for as long as I've known him I have never seen him afraid of anything... just let that sink in for a little bit... and maybe you'll come to your damn senses and actually listen to him before something bad happens."

The blonde alien walks off back upstairs, without giving Klaus a chance to answer her and she was pulling her phone out and dialing Kol's number on the way back to their bedroom, but it goes to voicemail, she sighs leaving a message "hey, call me back when you get the chance, I just need to know that you're okay, I love you Kol."

She sits the phone on the bed in front of her and she waits on him to call her back as she watches her show.

She didn't realize she had fallen asleep until her phone rang and woke her up "hello?" she let out a sigh of relief hearing Kol's voice on the other end of the phone "Hey Cass, sorry I missed your call earlier but I'm fine darling"

Cassie smiled she couldn't help but worry just a little about him, "what's going on?"

There's a pause "I may have compelled Damon to kill the hunter... I told Nik I wouldn't touch him and I didn't so I kept my word there"

Cassie rolls her eyes "I'd be more worried but I know you always have the protection ring on but just be careful, please."

Kol smiles on the other end of the phone "of course, darling, I love you, Cassie. I'll see you soon."

"I love you too Kol."

they hung up and Cassie sighed she couldn't help but worry, she had a bad feeling but she didn't know what it was about, oh if only she knew, she would have called him back and told him not to do whatever it is that he was planning to do.
