I should really pay more attention. Thank you so much for over 5,000 views!

Also, if you plan on watching the DEH movie, do not read this. Especially if you're easily biased.

I used Google Translate.

"Lets do it", JoJo agrees, shrugging. "It could be a once in a lifetime opportunity. Vive viejo, muere joven."

"Yeah!" Race grabbed more food and placed it in his bag methodically. "This could be the only time we ever do this. The cinema is a very important building in our lives, and it's important that we vivere le nostre vite mentre siamo giovani."

JoJo and Elmer looked confused, Elmer more so, as Albert nodded in agreement. "He's got a point."

"I don't know guys", Elmer says, their brows furrowed in worry. "I just don't get why we can't pay."

"Because only so many people can say that they snuck into a movie theater", JoJo clarifies, a sure smile on his face. "We can be those people."

Elmer bites their lip, running a hand through their hair. Albert wraps an arm around their shoulders. "If we do get caught-"

"Which is a very big if."

"Shut up, idiota", Albert says, glaring at Race. "If we get caught, we can take the 'L' and we'll buy you ice cream after."

Elmer looks at all of their friends- their best friends- an unsure look on their face. This is something the three of them really wanted to do, but Elmer wasn't very sure. They're pretty sure you can get fined for doing this.

Nonetheless, "Fine", they agrees, ignoring Race and JoJo's cheering. "But only if you promise to buy me a stuffed animal afterward, only then will I accept."

Race and JoJo nodded enthusiastically, Albert shaking his head with a knowing smile.

The four of them made it through the theater without so much as someone glancing at them. Race and Albert were talking excitedly as JoJo was looking around. Elmer was walking nervously.

They could swear their shirt was soaked through. They'd never done this before. When Race and Albert suggested watching a movie, Elmer planned on staying in, calling Mike and Spot, then snuggling with Albert in a blanket on the coach. There. Bliss.

But then Race said they should sneak into a movie theater like a bunch of broke idiots (which they were, as is the author, but they would never admit that). "Maybe we should leave, guys."

"No way", Race denies, looking for the theater with Dear Evan Hansen playing. "We've made it this far."

Elmer hums with fear as Albert grabs their hands, squeezing it. "We're okay", he says with a smile.

Elmer smiles back, calming down a bit. They followed after their friends, trying to calm themself down.

They found random seats in the front, that way it's harder to get caught. Sitting down, they chatted excitedly. Then, JoJo squealed as the lights dimmed.

"Shut up", he shushes, looking back at the screen with a smile. "Está comenzando."

Everyone looked at him confusedly, but did stop talking, watching the advertisements and trailers. Race almost fell asleep, but JoJo smiled through the entire thing, trying to memorize the names of some movies.

As the movie officially began to start, Race shushed them, despite no one talking, and feast his eyes on the screen. He was excited for his favorite song- he would often argue 'Does Anybody Have a Map' is the best song ever created, from which Davey would disagree and say it's 'A Musical' from Something Rotten- and smiled the entire time they watched Evan interact with Heidi.

But then Evan started singing.

Race furrowed his brows in confusion. The song was very important to the musical, seeing as it was the opening, yet it wasn't here. Like it was never there to begin with. It was almost uncomfortable watching Evan sing without the opening.

Maybe she'll sing later in the movie, Race thought, sitting comfortably. He glanced at Albert, who had his mouth hanging open.

"What the hell?" Race snorted at his confusion, shaking his head. JoJo giggled.

He was enjoying the movie quite a bit. Yes, he was disappointed about the beginning, and watching it was almost like watching Glee, but it wasn't all bad.

Elmer was smiling softly, trying to encourage themself not to cry. Were they upset? Yes. Were they going show it? No.

They continued watching the movie, thinking it was alright so far. Hearing Sincerely Me with different voices, save for Ben Platt, was...different, but nothing too bad.

And then Connor Murphy hit the woah.

The four of them sat in shock, trying to figure out where that came from. They certainly didn't expect it.

What? They all glanced at each other, silently communicating. Did you see that?

Sitting back in shock and annoyance, they continued watching the movie. It wasn't that bad, but it wasn't as good as they originally thought it would be. But, to be honest, they weren't very shocked.

As they left the theater, Race still eating his chips, they sighed, looking around.

"So?" JoJo looked amongst his friends. "What did we think?"

"It was horrible", Albert says bluntly, grabbing Elmer's hand. "I despise it."

Race continued chomping. "It was meh. Definitely not a rewatch, and it definitely wasn't good. I couldn't stop looking at the camera jumps..."

Elmer stayed quiet, stepping over the cracks in the sidewalk. "I don't know. It feels unfinished and like it hasn't started. I'd have to rewatch it to fully understand it."

JoJo scoffed in shock, clapping. "That was beautiful."

"Bravissimo!" Race looked down as he dropped his chips, whispering "sorry" to the road. The other boys laughed.

"So", Albert starts, smirking at Elmer. "We didn't get caught."

Elmer blushed, smiling softly. "No. No, we did not."

"Do you still want ice cream?"

"When do I not want ice cream?"

Albert chuckled and turned back to their friends. "Hey, losers! El wants ice cream!"

"You can't eat ice cream!"

"I'm willing to take that chance!" Albert smiled at Elmer with a wink, making the shorter blush harder.

Race threw crushed chips at them, humming the 'Wedding March.' "What the hell are you doing?"

"Here comes the bride!" JoJo sang obnoxiously, trying to hold in his laughter. He began to him along. Albert shook his head, glancing at his theirfriend.

"Should we leave them?"

"We can't do that!"

"Why?"

"Because they'll get lost and end up in a barn."

Albert laughed and kissed Elmer's forehead.
