As an artist, Jack was absolutely mesmerized by faces.

Everywhere he went, he couldn't help but look at someone's face twice and wonder what it would be like to draw it. The faces he found were beautiful, and he truly believed it belonged in a museum.

But there was one particular face that Jack thought was the most beautiful of all, and it sucks because the only time he saw it, he wasn't allowed to draw it.

When Jack was at work, this one stranger always happened to show up during his shift, seemed to have the most beautiful face Jack had ever seen.

His eyes were hazel with very unnoticeable specks of gold, but if you looked close enough you could find treasure.

His smile was on that belonged in famous museums around the world. He could save every princess to ever exist with how dashing it was.

Even his ears and nose were perfect.

To say Jack was mesmerized would be an understatement. He was completely in love with this stranger, and the guy only said a few words to each other everyday.

But today, Jack decided to make his move.

There was only one problem with that.

Jack watched as he walked through the door, the bell ringing above it. His eyes were their usual tired brightness they had before he got his coffee: a black coffee with at least two packets of sugar; three if he was feeling crazy.

The tall stranger walked up to the counter and smiled. "Hey, Jack."

Jack smiled and waved. Grabbing a piece of paper. 'Hey, Davey! How are you?"

"I'm still very tired", Davey chuckled after reading the note. "You?"

'Better than I was yesterday.'

"That's always a good thing."

Jack nodded and grabbed a coffee cup, filling it with the same bitter tasting beverage he did everyday. He handed it to Davey, who grabbed it gratefully, two sugar packets in his hands.

"Thanks", Davey says, opening the packets and focusing on not getting it on the counter.

Jack stared at his features as he moved with the same motions he did everyday, as if he were seeing it for the first time. Davey seemed to not notice Jack was staring, but he had to look up sometime.

"What?" Davey looked in Jack's eyes, who blinked and hurriedly grabbed a piece of paper.

'You have a nice face.'

Davey blushed slightly and chuckled, looking at Jack amusedly. "You have a better one."

Jack looked away and blushed, scribbling hurriedly on the piece of paper. He pushed it further towards Davey, showcasing his phone number.

Davey chuckled and grabbed the piece of paper, smiling softly and folding it, placing it in his pocket. "I'll text you?"

Jack nodded, grabbing another piece of paper. 'Text me soon so I can draw your face.'

Davey laughed and shook his head. "Sure."

Jack smiled and nodded, looking at the time. Davey followed his eyes and sighed, looking back at the shorter.

"I guess I should get to work", Davey says sadly. "We'll have to set a date."

Jack blushed and nodded furiously, making Davey laugh as he winked and walked out of the shop.

Til tomorrow.
