Good Morning- Jackpot

I've already sort of done this with JackSpot, but that one was just cute.

Spot woke up at 5am. He usually woke up at 7, but today was a special day.

Today was the day Spot spent the day with Jack.

They often didn't get to spend their mornings together, with Spot going to work, and Jack going to artcons. But there were days where Spot would wake up extra early after having planned an entire day of activities.

So, after taking a shower, brushing his teeth, and putting on a t-shirt and jeans, Spot stared at his boyfriend.

Now here comes the hard part. Jack was a pain to wake up in the morning, since he went to sleep very late, usually from painting or viewing social media.

Spot sighed and looked at the clock. 7:00am. An entire two hours from when he woke up. How to approach this.

Spot leaned next to Jack's ear. "Baby, it's time to wake up."

Jack groaned and flipped to the other side of the pillow, facing away from Spot. The taller chuckled. "Come on, wake up. I have the whole day planned."

Jack groaned and pulled away from Spot's kisses, making the older chuckle. Nonetheless, he continued, trying everything.

"Stop", Jack groaned, snuggling into his pillow. Spot went on. "I'll kick you."

"Then I won't make you pancakes", Spot responds, kissing him between every word. He chuckled when Jack whined, finally turning over.

"There's my shining star", Spot says as Jack opens his eyes, glaring at him. "Now, come on. It's already 7:45."

Jack rolled his eyes and grabbed Ape, the giraffe. Spot smiled as his boyfriend sat up, sighed, and threw himself back onto the bed, his feet hanging off.

"Pancakes."

"Okay", Jack dragged, sitting up. "I'm stealin' all of your water bottles because of this."

Spot laughed as Jack followed him out of the room, trying to preserve his energy.

"Are you happy now?"

Jack flipped him off as he ate his pancakes, wearing Spot's hoodie. "I'm only here for the pancakes."

"And me."

"No. I dislike you."

"Why?"

Jack looked at him like he was crazy, shaking his head. "Only vampires wake up at the time you woke me up."

"Baby, there are children that go to school earlier than that", Spot chuckled, rolling his eyes. Jack glared at him and continued eating.

"I'm bein' pretty generous", Jack says, placing his fork down on his plate. "I should be takin' your shoes."

Spot smiled as Jack's accent slipped and he hugged Ape closer. He only did this when he was sleepy, which was a rarity to see, but still adorable nonetheless. "What are you going to do with my shoes?"

"I'd keep them", Jack nodded, thinking. "Then, I'd steal your socks. You already can't go anywhere without your shoes, now you's sockless."

"You'd let me freeze?" Jack nodded, downing his orange juice.

"In a heartbeat."

Spot chuckled and walked over to Jack's side of the island, kissing his forehead. "I love you."

Jack smiled, kissing Spot's cheek.
