Will said to her with a smile. "Thank you, Mr. Schue. I couldn't have done it without you." Mercedes said to him with a smile while Jesse walks onto the stage. "You're not a star. You're just a girl who can really sing." Male Jesse said to her as Jesse stands next to Mercedes. "Ex-Excuse me?" Mercedes said to him. "I don't think you want this badly enough, Mercedes. How many times did you practice that song?" Male Jesse asks her. "Practice? No, I feel my material, and I sing with emotion. I'm in the moment, Mr. St. James. I don't need to practice." Mercedes said to him. "Actually, you do. And how long did you work on that choreography? Oh, wait. There was none. You're lazy, Mercedes." Male Jesse said to her. "Not too lazy to come up there and let you taste my fist!" Mercedes yelled at him while showing Male Jesse her fist. "Whoever gets this solo is gonna have to work on it day and night. Do you think you're ready for that?" Male Jesse asks her. "We do!" The glee club yelled at him. "I don't." Male Jesse said to them and Mercedes looks at Jesse. "I hate him." Mercedes said and she walks off the stage. "My name is Jesse Schuester and I will be singing, Try Everything by Shakira." Jesse said to them and the band starts playing the song.

"Jesse, why didn't you pick a slow song about your disorder?" Male Jesse asks her making everyone look at him. "Do you know what the song you just sing mean?" Male Jesse asks her. "What?" Jesse said to him. "If you going to be a teacher one day you need to know this." Male Jesse said to her. "The song means, Don't be afraid to try new things, learn new skills, enter new industries, and find new ways to earn a living and don't be afraid to evolve." Jesse said to him making Will smile. "Whatever you say." Male Jesse said to her, Jesse walks off the stage. "Jesse St. James more like Jesse St. Sucks." Jesse said while walking past Rache who looks at her.
