At McKinley In The Choir Room

The teens were sitting down with Sue and Will in front of them. "I can't stand the sound of the movie musical music." Sue said to them. "What else is new?" Kurt asks her. "It makes my ears bleed. I like it if you teens stop singing songs about losers and outcasts." Sue said to them. "Or we can sing what we want." Sebastian said to her. "Listen, there young man. No, more singing songs from this movie." Sue said to him and the band starts playing. "What's happening?" Sue asks Will who was next to her.

Sebastian
Right here
Right now

Sebastian sings while walking over to Sue with his siblings behind him.

Sebastian
I put the offer out
I don't wanna chase you down
I know you see it

Sebastian sings standing in front of Sue.

Jamey
You run with me
And I can cut you free
Out of the drudgery
And walls you keep in

Jamey sings while walking behind Sue.

Jesse
So trade that typical
For something colorful

Jesse sings making Sue look at her.

Jesse
And if it's crazy
Live a little crazy
You can play it sensible
A queen of conventional
Or you can risk it all and see

Jesse sings and Jamey spins Sue around to face him.

Jamey
Don't you wanna
Get away from the same old
Part you gotta play?

Jamey sings while touching Sue's shoulder making her push it off of her. Jamey runs over to the others and he stands on one of the chairs.

Jamey
'Cause I got what you need
So come with me and take the ride
It'll take you to the other side
'Cause you can do like you do
Or you can do like me

Jamey sings and he jumps off the chairs and he walks back to the front.

Sebastian
Stay in the cage
Or you finally take the key
Oh, damn!
Suddenly you're free to fly
It'll take you to the other side

Sue
Okay, my friend
You wanna cut me in

Sue sings while looking at the siblings.

Sue
Well, I hate to tell you
But it just won't happen

Sue sings pushing Jesse a little making her put her hands up.

Sue
So thanks, but no
I think I'm good to go
'Cause I quite enjoy the life
You say I'm trapped in

Sue sings and she walks over to the band.

Sue
Now I admire you
And that whole show you do
You're on to something
Really it's something
But I live among the swells
And we don't pick up peanut shells
I'll have to leave that up to you

Don't you know that I'm OK with this uptown part I get to play?
'Cause I got what I need and
I don't wanna take the ride
I don't need to see the other side
So go and do like you do
I'm good to do like me
Ain't in a cage
So I don't need to take the key
Oh, damn!
Can't you see I'm doing fine?
I don't need to see the other side

Jesse walks over to her.

Jesse
Now is this really
How you'd like to spend your days?
Whiskey and misery
And parties and plays?

Sue looks at her.

Sue
If I were mixed up with you
I'd be the talk of the town
Disgraced and disowned
Another one of the clowns

Jamey walks over to them.

Jamey
But you would finally live a little, finally laugh a little
Just let me give you the freedom to dream and it'll
Wake you up and cure your aching
Take your walls and
Start 'em breaking

Jamey sings while Sue walks to the door.

Sebastian
Now that's a deal
That seems worth taking
But I guess I'll leave that up to you

Sebastian sings as Sue stands there thinking about it. Sue turns to the three.

Sue
Well, it's intriguing
But to go would cost me greatly
So what percentage of the show would I be taking?

Sebastian
Fair enough
You'd want a piece of all the action
I'd give you seven
We could shake and make it happen

Sue
I wasn't born this morning
Eighteen would be just fine

Sue sings while walking over to them.

Jesse
Why not just go ahead
And ask for nickels on the dime

Jesse sings while the four walk to each other.

Sue
Fifteen

Jamey
I'd do eight

Sue
Twelve

Sebastian
Maybe nine

Sue
Ten!

The four look at each other while everyone was watching them wanting to see what will happen.

The Siblings Dynasty and Sue
Don't you wanna get away to a whole new part you're gonna play
'Cause I got what you need, so come with me and take the ride
To the other side

The four dance to the song making everyone stand up and they walk to the front and joins in on the dance.

The Siblings Dynasty and Sue
So if you do like I do
So if you do like me
Forget the cage
'Cause we know
How to make the key

They sing while Will was watching them with a smile.

The Siblings Dynasty and Sue
(New Directions)
Oh, damn!
Suddenly we're free to fly
We're going to the other side
So if you do like I do
(To the other side)
So if you do like me
(We're going to the other side)
'Cause if we do we're going to the other side

Everyone sits down again as the siblings and Sue face each other.

The Siblings Dynasty and Sue
We're going to the other side

The song ends and the siblings look at Sue. "If you let us do this lesson we will make sure you are not around to hear the songs." Jamey said to her making Sue looks at him. Sebastian holds out his hand to her. "Do we have a deal?" Sebastian asks her making Sue chuckle and reaches out her hand, but instead of shaking his, she pushes it away. "Hugh Jackman would hate you." Sue said to the siblings and she walks out of the room. "Okay, that didn't work." Jesse said to them.
