Its the end of the year and so many things have happened. Liz found out she wasn't pregnant and became much more of a liberal. She goes out parties and her grades have suffered but we still remain friends even though I don't agree with the changes she has been thru. Jeremy on the other hand got even closer to and we became best friends. He has a strange effect on me when I'm with him. Its as if everything were in place or something. He just brings me peace.

My mate David, yes the english teacher has been close to me as well. "Lilly were here." I heard david's voice say and I opened my eyes. He had driven me to a restaurant a distant away from the entire pack but still within boundries and I had fallen asleep. We were still hidding our relationship...for my protection he said and I blindly believed him.

He parked the car and got out. "Come on lilly" he said from the front of the car and I got out rolling my eyes. School had ended a few days ago and since then david seemed to be short tempered with me. I stepped out of the car and walked up to him but he started walking in front of me as if hidding the fact that we came together. 'This is stupid' my wolf said and I couldn't help but agree with her. This was stupid so much hidding and for what. I was heading nowhere with this.

We stepped inside and he got us a table. We ate in silence and I couldn't help but squirm at the awkwardness of the situation. In the beginning being with my mate had felt incredible but now that feeling was vashing. "Hey, aren't you enjoying this?" He said his voice sour and I plastered on a fake smile."yes I am thank you." I said and he went back to eating his steak. 'Leave' my wolf said and I knew she didn't mean the restaurant.

'I can't he's my mate.' I thought and finished eating. He payed the bill and we got back into his car. He drove off and parked in a clearing. "You look so pretty." He said and began kissing me sending small shocks of electricity down my body. I kissed him back and pretty soon we were making out. We were wrapped in each others arms for what seemed like forever until he tried taking off my pants and I stopped him before he could.

"No david we can't." I said out of breath and he let out a breath. "Why not? Were mates." He said short tempered. "We can't do that until we formally mate and you ask my parents for my hand." I said and no sooner had the words left my mouth that his hand came flying towards me. It connected with my cheek and instantly a burst of pain erupted on my face making me wince.

"I'm taking you home." He said and turned on the car. I said nothing and just curled up into myself 'Jeremy' I thought scared and then something surprising happened. 'Lilly?' His voice asked me and I opened my eyes wide. A while later he dropped me off and left without a single word. I sat by the curb and cried ' He didn't even drop me off at home.' I thought as I sat there by some trees alone. My house was around the corner but still he didn't have to be so mean to me.

"Lilly?" I heard jeremy's voice calling out to me and I looked up to see him standing over me. My cheek was fine the wolf genes in me always healed any damage so that jeremy only saw me blush. "Hi." Was all I said as he sat besides me. "I was running when I sensed you nearby and here I am." He said explaining himself to me and I smiled.

"But what are you doing here?" He asked me and fresh tears spilled from my eyes. "Nothing jeremy I'm just..." I said mumbling and he hugged me. "Its ok lil I'm here. You can tell me anything." He said and I laughed sarcasticlly causing him to look at me. "I'm sorry jeremy its just that I find this so ironic" I said and he raised an eyebrow. "Why?" He asked me and I said nothing. 'Tell him.' My wolf urged me but I remained silent.
