Hoseok's P.O.V
The sky of Los Angeles looks so clear, in a few minutes the plane we were travelling with would land. I turned to the man who was sleeping next to me. His skin was pale, his eyes puffy, he looks messy. I never had the heart to see him like this. The round eyes that used to be shining bright and beautiful, are now always decorated with remorse and sadness.
He lost the person he loved the most. I know him since he was 15 years old, I see him growing up. During that time, I never saw him so happy except when he talked about his lover. Especially when he met him, its as if the whole universe was in front of him.
Therefore, when they had to separate, he really lost his spirit of life. He never showed his sadness, he always tried to smile and be strong in front of us, keeping all his own pain.
But we know how devastated he truly is. His eyes are lifeless, his smile is no longer the same. And everything is getting worse in the past two years.
To be honest, the last person to see Taehyung is me. At that time, when I was looking for Jungkook to get him ready to perform, I saw Taehyung running from behind the stage. Never knew that was the last time I saw him.
For the past two years, no one has ever mentioned the name 'Kim Taehyung' anymore. Not because we forgot about him, not because we didn't miss him, we really really wanted to see that boxy smile again. But on the other hand, we don't want to bring him up again to protect the feelings of our youngest brother.
Honestly, behind our youngest's back, we never stop talking about Taehyung. How Jimin often suddenly cries every time he remembers him, how Jin often daydreams in the kitchen every time he remembers the moments he cooks with Taehyung.
We, me; Jin Hyung; Yoongi Hyung; Namjoon; Jimin, really missed him, and deep in our hearts, we felt very guilty about him.
We enjoy all of this success, on the other hand, Taehyung suffers alone.
"He's fine in his country" Namjoon always said that to calm his lover.

Now we are on our way to the hotel to take a short break then continue the next schedule, the Ellen Show.
Somehow there is an awkward silence engulfing us.
I looked worriedly at Jungkook. Since he came home from visiting his grandmother, he hasn't said a word. He just nodded, shook his head, and smile, which is forced.
"What are you holding?" I tried to invite him to talk
But he didn't answer, instead, he just looked at the object in his hand. The stuff he never released from his grasp. It's a key with J keychain. He gripped that thing tightly.
"Is your grandmother's condition deteriorating? It seems you're so sad since you returned from the hospital"
he just shook his head
"Did you meet your parents there?"
he shook his head, again
"Is your grandmother allowed to go home in the near future?"
he just shook his head for the third time
and that frustrates me.
"Jungkook, please, you can't keep going on like this. If you really miss him, alright, let's go to Germany. I'll take you there." I ruffled my hair in frustration.
"There is no point for you to living like this. It's useless. The time that has been lost, the event that has been passed, the words you have said, those things will never return in your life." I unconsciously yelled at him, then a hand squeezing my shoulder tried to calm me.
"Everything Hoseok says is true. It's useless for you to regret it. It's useless that you destroy your own life like this. If you really want him back, then tell him. When two people are destined for each other, there is no time that overlong, there is no distance that too far, and there is no tragedy that will separate them. " Namjoon said
"Tomorrow, as soon as we return to Korea, we have a meeting scheduled with Taehyung family's company related to our contract extension as a brand ambassador. We will meet his sister. We can ask Taehyung's whereabouts to her, then you can meet him if that's what you want. " He added
and the main character just turned his gaze out of the window, looking at a row of skyscrapers.

No One's P.O.V
All members have arrived at the Ellen Show location. They are getting ready to get on the stage.
"Ok, listen to me. Today the format of the Ellen show is a little different. This past week, fans wrote down questions for you. Ellen will choose two questions for each of member, and she will ask you about the chosen questions. So I hope you can answer wisely" Sejin look at the members one by one. In fact, he was very worried because Ellen didn't give cue-cards or leaked the questions that would be given. So that he can only hope that the members can give the best answers.
The six young men nodded together.
Jin, as the oldest member, stroked Jungkook's back
"Do your best," he said with a smile and give a reassuring look
So far, the show has run smoothly. The five members can answer the questions well. The question is mainly about love, friendship, hobby, fashion, inspiration in making a song, food, skincare routine, and diet tips.
"Now the last question for Jeon Jungkook," Ellen said cheerfully, and the said male nodding while tried to give his best smile.
"Oho. It's quite interesting how the fans only ask about love for the youngest member."
The other members silently choked. Love is a sensitive matter for Jungkook.
"The first question. As the youngest member, you have to be honest. Are the members currently have a girlfriend?"
Jungkook laughed. "No. In all honestly, No."
Well, it's not a lie.
Ellen laughed too, "Well then I'll replace the question. Have BTS members ever had a lover?"
"Of course ever. I'm sorry but we can't lie and said that we have never had a lover in all our lives. We are at the age where it's natural for us to interest in someone then dating that person."
"So you have had a lover, but now you are no longer together?"
Jungkook's gaze became a bit grim. "Yes"
"How many lovers you had in the past?"
"one and only"
"What kind of boyfriend are you?" she asked again
"I thought I was a very selfish boyfriend. For example, I got annoyed when that person didn't text me back right away, meanwhile, I often reply that person's text many hours later, or even a day later. I'm not in the position to hold hands in public or have a date in cinemas like other people. As an Idol, the places where we can date are limited. I didn't mind about that since it's the consequence of my work. Never realized that my lover felt too much pressure. But I can do nothing because it will affect my career and my life. We spent time like that until we broke up." Jungkook tried to hold back his tears
"After we broke up, I started to regret it, I feel sorry toward that person. Right from the start, I shouldn't date that person. I hurt that person so much. A star is always concerned about their reputation, love was difficult for us. That's why right now I chose to focus on my career and my fans." He said with a smile, but the members know how much he is sugar-coating his expression.
no one realizes that in his words he always uses the pronoun 'that person' not 'her' because it's actually 'him'.
"Okay the second question for Jungkook," Ellen said, making the members chuckle
"Didn't you already ask a lot of questions for him?" asked Jimin.
"No. No, that was just one question. Other questions are only a complement to the main one." She winked
Actually, Jimin and others are aware of that, because they also get complementary questions. They just afraid if Ellen keeps asking questions about love to Jungkook, their youngest brother will lose control.
"Jungkook Oppa, I have a boyfriend who is the same age as you. But recently he broke off his relationship with me because he felt we hadn't known each other for a long time. If you were my lover, would you do the same thing?" Ellen gives the second question
"Why did you ask this to Jungkook? Why not me? I'm also the same age as your lover" Jimin pouted, pretending to be angry. Make the whole studio laugh.
"Well, she wants his boyfriend to be a handsome man," said Yoongi who teased his sweetheart
"Love is not about how long you know each other. It's about since you know him, your life gets better. Morning becomes brighter, the day becomes calmer, and when night comes the thing you want the most is for tomorrow to come. So, if I was your boyfriend, I never let you go because of that reason."
Once he finished speaking, Jungkook realized that having to hold his breath and keep trying to stay calm was far worse than crying. And that was so painful for him.
One thing for sure, both Jungkook and other members, they just haven't understood yet that no one can wear a mask for very long.
