Gray laid on his stomach as it started to snow.
Flash back
Younger Gray laid on his stomach with only his underwear while it snowed. A tall figure of a woman stood over him with hands on her hips.
"What's the matter? You're not giving up that easily. Get up Gray. Get up Gray."
End of Flash back
"Get up Gray. Man you look rough. He beat the snot outta ya, huh?" Natsu spoke.
"Yeah. You look like shit," (M/N) stated.
"Natsu. (M/N). What are you guys doing here?" the ice wizard muttered.
"We couldn't remember where the village was, so we climbed back up here to find it."
"Come on. Let's go," the lucky wizard put his arm around his waist.
"Wait. I can walk. Where's Lyon?" he got up.
"Dunno. By the time we made it back, everybody vanished."
Gray fell again, but was caught by Natsu. He put him on top of the chunk of ice.
"You know Natsu, I can carry him for you," the (H/C) haired man offered.
"Nah. It's fine. Just making the training more challenging," Natsu smirked.
"Alright. If you say so," he shrugged.
"Hold on. We have to get back to the village before they do."

"No way! Deliora is way out of your league Gray! It'll kill you! Don't go!"
End of flash back
Flash back
"I am going on this S-Class quest!" the dragon slayer growled and shook with anger.
"Natsu! I'm warning you! You're way out of your league here! Just come home!"
End of flash back
"Hey."
"Yeah?"
"I'm sorry. I'm sorry I didn't believe in you. I'm no better," tears fell down his cheeks.
"QUIT FEELING SORRY FOR YOURSELF CAUSE YOU LOST A FIGHT! YOU'RE A MEMBER OF FAIRY TAIL!"
Gray was dumbfounded while (M/N) had a smirk on his (S/C) face.
"And we don't give up when times are tough! So just put it behind you and keep moving forward!"
The dragon slayer began to run with the (E/C) eyed man speed walking next to him.
"Aw great! Now it's even harder to run!"
"The offer still stands."
"I'll be fine! We have to get to the village!"
"Okay then. Lead the way."

"Listen up! The people who caused the curse are here planning an attack on the village!" Lucy warned.
"They've come down here to fight us?" a villager asked.
"Yeah. But I've got a plan. We'll capture them and lock them up until they tell us how to change you back!"
Everyone muttered amongst themselves, unsure whether to follow through with the plan or not.
"Only thing is, I'm pretty sure those three are wizards. They're gonna be hard to catch," Happy pointed out.
"You're right. You're the only one we've got right now. Well good luck."
"Last time I checked, you're a wizard too!"
Suddenly, the blonde gasped and clapped her hands, "I just had a brilliant idea!"
"Nothing good can come of this."
"What are all of you doing out here?" the chief walked up to them.
"Chief!"
"We don't have much time sir! The enemy is going to attack any second now!"
"Enemy?"
"The people responsible for the curse that causes you and your people to transform! They've been hiding in the old temple in the jungle!"
"I don't care who's in the temple! Why haven't you destroyed the moon?!"
She waved her hands, "Well, you see it wasn't the moon that did this to you exactly. But now we know who did."
"You lie! Do what I've asked of you!"
The old man was held back by two villagers.
"Chief. You have to calm down."
"Come on. Let's go."
The celestial wizard sweat dropped as the chief was being pulled away by force.
"He doesn't mean any of that. He's just upset. He's been like this since Bobo died."
"Poor man. I know how to trap the enemy."
"Be happy to help if you need us."
She giggled, "I'm the greatest celestial wizard Fairy Tail's got. So why don't you just leave it to me. You don't have to worry. It'll be a piece of cake."
"I've always wanted to say that!""
"Somebody's starting to get cocky."
"Open! Gate of the Maiden: Virgo!"
The maid spirit surfaced from the ground and bowed. All the villagers had hearts in their eyes admiring her.
"She's not that cute."
*Time skip*
"Princess. I have completed the task," Virgo said.
"Good work Virgo. My plan is going to work perfectly."
"I'm not so sure," the spirit spoke doubtfully.
"What did you just say?!"
"Hey Lucy?" Happy called.
"Yeah? What is it?"
The cat sweated, "I really hate to break it to you, but I think you might be stupid."
"Wow. Thanks a lot for the encouragement."
"I just don't think anyone's gonna fall for it cause it's the oldest trick in the book."
"Don't be silly. A pitfall trap will get 'em every time."
"But you can tell what it is by looking at it."
"It doesn't matter cause there's only one way through the village. So if the enemy's gonna have to go over it, they have to walk in."
"But I still don't think they're going to fall for it."
"Um, me either," a villager spoke.
"I'm sorry, but I agree with them," another one added.
"Yes. I have to concur."
"Not you too! Go ahead and doubt me. You'll see."
"Ms. Lucy! It looks like somebody's headed this way!"
"That's gotta be them. Open the gate!" she ordered.
"Right!"
The gate opened to reveal the dragon slayer with the ice wizard on top of him with the lucky wizard speed walking beside him.
"Hey guys! Are you okay?!"
Everyone screamed. The blonde yelled at them to stop and the pink haired boy came to a halt. The other man kept walking until he was at the other side. Everyone screamed in disbelief.
"A pitfall blondie? Really? Happy's right. You are stupid."
"You didn't have to call me that."
"I could call you a b-"
"I think I prefer being called 'stupid'."
"What's with the grass?" the pink haired boy was about to step on it when the lucky wizard stopped him.
"What is it (M/N)?"
(M/N) took Gray off of him before walking back to Lucy and the villagers.
"Alright. You can go now."
Natsu stepped on the grass before he fell in the trap.
"He actually fell for it."
"Yeah. I'm sorry we ever doubted you."
Her head tipped over, "It's ruined."
"Very funny! We don't have time to play practical jokes on each other!"
"Don't talk to me. It was Lucy's dumb idea."
"I should've known!"
"It wasn't a joke! It was a trap!"
"Only a vacuous person would come up with something inane."
"Big words (M/N)."
"My point exactly blondie," he crossed his arms.
"I'm glad you're okay! I was worried about you!" Happy said.
"Yeah I'm fine. But Gray's down for the count."
"The guy in the mask beat him up that badly?"
"For fuck's sake. It's a helmet."
"That's the least of our concern right now."
"I'm used to Natsu's stupidity. Not yours."
"Shut up (M/N)."
"You say something, blondie?"
"No sir! Sorry sir!" she waved her hands frantically.
"Hey the ice is gone. It must've cracked when I fell."
"See? Told you the pitfall would work."
"Excuse me Princess, but I believe he left the caster's range of magic," Virgo suggested.
"I'M FREE!"
(M/N) settled Gray onto the ground.
"So how come Lyon's lackeys aren't here yet?"
"You know, that's a good question. They left for the village before you but you got here first. I wonder what's taking them so long."
"Yeah. With Gray and that giant ice cube, I was pretty slow."
"They're probably preparing something. Something that could destroy the entire village and everyone in it. That's the only explanation I can come up with."
"Alright guys! Hurry up and cover the hole!"
Natsu and (M/N) made faces, "They're not gonna fall for it."
"Huh? Over there!" a villager pointed.
Everyone looked up to see a giant flying rat with carrying a large bucket.
"What?! But now my pitfall trap is useless!"
"Hey look on the bright side. It was useless in the first place."
"Not helping (M/N)!"
(M/N) rolled his eyes, "Wasn't trying to, blondie."

"Who knew double poison jelly was so hard to prepare?" the pink haired girl said.
"We timed it perfectly. Those wizards made it back to the village."
The dog person growled in excitement.
"We cannot rest until Deliora has been revived for the Cold Emperor. Anyone who dares to stand in our way must die."

A huge drop of green goop dripped from the bucket. It was about to land on the blonde until the dragon slayer pushed her out of the way. The drop caused a hole in the ground.
"That smell. I knew the stuff was deadly."
"So that's what they were planning. They're smarter than they look. I'll give them that much," (M/N) slightly frowned.
The whole village panicked.

"Idiots. Who would've thought the moon drip would turn these people into beasts."
"They look like the demon children of Deliora."
The dog person responded with a grow.
"Angelica. Would you do the honors?"
The giant rat spilled the poison and threw the bucket.

"HOW ARE WE GONNA PROTECT OURSELVES FROM MASSIVE JELLY?!"
"I want everybody to get to the center of the village! (M/N) make sure nobody gets hurt!" Natsu ordered.
(M/N) nodded, "Right! Come on everyone!"
"Ready to fly Happy?!"
"Aye sir!"
The dragon slayer ran and jumped into the air. The cat flew quickly and caught him. The lucky wizard lead everyone to the center of the village while carrying an unconscious Gray.
"I'm not going! I'm not leaving Bobo's grave!" the chief hugged his son's grave.
"But chief! The jelly's gonna get ya!"
"FLAMES OF MY RIGHT HAND! FLAMES OF MY LEFT HAND! YOU PUT 'EM TOGETHER AND...!"
His flames greatly increased in size.
"YOU GET...!"
He throws the ball of flames towards the jelly.
"FIRE DRAGON: BRILLIANT FLAME!"
The flames struck the jelly and spread it all around the villagers.
"He dispersed it."
"That boy's a fire wizard?!"
Jelly rained from the sky and one big blob struck the chief along with the (S/C) man.
"Oh no! Chief!"
"(M/N)!"
The smoke cleared to reveal the maid spirit and lucky wizard with the chief on his shoulder.
"You wish to punish him for disobeying orders?" Virgo asked.
"Virgo! (M/N)!"
The ground was burned in a circle except for the center with the villagers.
"The village has been completely dissolved. This is terrible."
"Is anybody hurt?"
Smoke cleared and there was the grave, standing until the three wizards trampled it.
"The Cold Emperor ordered us to eradicate the village AND it's people. We were trying to show mercy by making your deaths quick and painless. But since that didn't work, we'll have to resort to bloodshed."
"Fifty villagers, three wizards, shouldn't take more than fifteen minutes."
"Fifteen minutes huh? Well, the time varies depending on how strong we are," (M/N) stated.
"Oh well. That should be plenty of time to kick your asses," he chuckled callously.
"You ready?"
"Yeah."
"I'm always ready," he cracked his knuckles with a cold-blooded smile.
"Count again cause there's four wizards!" Happy said.
The ice wizard woke up. The chief was enraged. He was held back by his people.
The dark blue haired man got up, "Let me help."
"Gray!"
"Not gonna happen. We don't need your help," the pink haired boy told him.
Gray panted, "Natsu. Don't do this to me-"
The dragon slayer punched him in the gut, knocking him out once again.
"Just lie down and get some rest."
Gray grabbed his scarf and said something before going unconscious again. Natsu caught him.
"But why?"
"He's giving Gray tough love. Natsu knows he's in no condition to fight so he had to stop him," Happy told her.
"That means deep down they really do care about each other."
"We're Fairy Tail. Of course we care about each other. That's what family does."
"(M/N)."
*Time skip*
"You'll take care of him for us, won't you?"
"No problem Ms. Lucy. Alright. Let's go."
The villagers walked away, leaving the wizards by themselves.
(M/N) snorted, "'Ms. Lucy'? You didn't pay them to call you that, did you?"
"I didn't pay anybody!"
"We're not leaving until every person in this village is dead. Angelica."
The giant rodent jumped then flew towards the ground then ascended. The blonde got excited and accidentally grabbed onto it.
"Yup. She's stupid," Happy confirmed.
"More like insane!" Natsu yelled.
Lucy punched the rat's foot then tickled her. The pink haired woman discouraged her not to try then the rodent laughed. They fell down somewhere in the jungle. The dragon slayer and lucky wizard sweat dropped.
"Great. He's gonna get ticked."
"I don't have any ticks!"
"I wasn't talking about you."
"Do you think she made it? That giant rat might've crushed her."
"If so, she's probably a goner," the cat's wings appeared, "I'll go and check on her."
"Thanks. Be careful, alright?"
Happy hummed then flew in the direction the rat landed.
"I'll stay here and deal with them."
Natsu launched himself towards the dog person and knocked him over using his head. Then he attacked the other wizard with the big eyebrows.
He landed and the flames cleared up. The big eyebrow man was surrounded by a blue force field before it disappeared.
"A wizard who can breathe fire? I see. Don't tell me you're the salamander from Fairy Tail everyone has talk about."
The dog person got up on his feet, "I'm good!"
"You know, we used to be members of the famous guild ourselves. So you shouldn't blow us off. In fact, 'Iron Rock' Jura used to belong to the same guild. Surely, you've heard of Lamia Scale."
The dog person barely dodged the dragon slayer's flames and engulfed the eyebrow man.
"Hey! Cut it out! Listen when I'm talking to you!"
"Why? You think I care what guild you're from or who the other members are? We came here to help the villagers and you're the ones who put them in danger. And that makes you Fairy Tail's enemy. And that gives me more than enough reason to fight you."
"You know, trying to threaten us only proves that you're afraid of getting your asses kicked," (M/N) asserted.
"Hey Toby. Just stand back. You don't need to get involved. I've got this."
"Wave!"
"I'll tear that thing apart!"
The dragon slayer was caught off guard and struck by the wave, knocking him to the ground.
"Oops. Guess you weren't ready for that," the eyebrow man taunted.
Natsu breathed fire but was canceled out by the wave of Yuka's hand.
"Pulsing energy that comes from my hand deflects your flames and defuses all types of magic. Which means none of your spells will work against me."
The dragon slayer wiped his cheek, "So that's why my fire power couldn't destroy his barrier. I get it."
"Defuses all types of magic huh? I'd like to test that sometime," (M/N) hummed curiously.
"I specialized in anti-wizard magic while I was with the Lamia Scale guild," two magic circles appeared on his hand.
"And I'm sure you can understand why. No matter how strong they might be, all wizards are powerless against me! Even you!"
Yuka launched barriers at the pink haired boy and he dodged.
"Oh yeah?!"
He punched through the barrier.
"Like I told you, your magic is useless against my wave."
"That doesn't mean I'm gonna let you off the hook! I'll just have to crush you without it!" he punched through the barrier again.
"Hey look! I broke through it!" he then screamed in pain.
"You put your arm through a vortex of magic energy. Not a smart move."
He pushes himself through the barrier.
"He's pushing himself inside the wave!" Toby yelled.
"You're magic's no match for my brute strength! So what are you gonna do now?!" he laughed maniacally.
"He's crazy Yuka! Watch out!"
"You broke through my wave but now you're stuck Salamander. Your flames aren't gonna work now that you're inside."
"But I can still use them outside! And you just gave me a great idea!"
(Cause I felt like it)
He cast a spell using his elbow.
"Fire Dragon...!"
"He's using his fire magic as a booster to increase the power of his punch!"
"Flame Elbow!"
He punched the wave user into the air and landed on his head.
"That's one down."
"Crazy but brilliant. You never cease to amaze me Natsu," (M/N) crossed his arms and smirked.
"Man. You're awesome."
"You're about to see just how awesome first hand."
"I'm not scared. Cause I'm even stronger than Yuka is," Toby's nails grew into green claws.
"Check out my mega jelly fish paralyzing claws! Bet you can't guess what these babies can do!"
"Paralyze you?"
"Whoa! How did you know that? Hey. You got ESP or something?"
Natsu had blue lines on his face, "No. You're just real dumb."
"Nobody talks to me like that!" he swiped the dragon slayer.
He swiftly dodges.
"Watch it."
"Just one swipe from my claws! You'll be frozen waiting to die!"
"Hey man, hold on a sec," he put his hand on his head, "you got a little something right here."
He copied the action and paralyzed himself before falling on his back.
"Well that was easy. Those guys were a joke."
"Never thought I'd hear you say something so mean."
"Come on. You would've taken them down with only a finger."
"True," (M/N) agreed.
"Here we go," the dragon slayer carried a slab of stone and placed it back on a ring of rocks.
"We're gonna find a way to change your people back to normal Bobo. I know we will. And I promise you. I will avenge your death."
Without his knowledge, the (H/C) haired man smiled. He rubbed his head affectionately, causing the pink haired boy to flush and look down.

A masked man and oddly dressed people walked up to the 'Cold Emperor'.
"Excuse me Cold Emperor. I'm sorry to interrupt but I was wondering why you chose to spare the life of that wizard Gray."
"No reason. Other than I don't feel the need to shed more blood."
"You say that. But ordering your minions to kill those villagers tells a different story. It would appear you have a soft spot for your former rival."
"Nonsense. I simply desire to not get anymore blood on my hands. But if he happens to get in my way again, I won't hesitate to kill him."
He frowned, then smiled again.
"That's good. I'm glad."

The celestial got up and looked around.
"Hey. Where's that weird chick?"
The strange woman cried, "Do you have any idea what you've done? It's horrible! Because of you, the Cold Emperor will no longer be able to trust me! He won't love me anymore!"
"Love?" Lucy repeated.
"Look what you did to Angelica! I'll make you pay!"
"Bring it on! Let's see what you've got!"
The woman yelled and a tree came to life.
"Whoa! That tree's alive!"
She screamed before the tree attacked the blonde.
"Open! Gate of the Golden Bull: Taurus!"
The cow spirit emerged from the ground.
"I'm not a pervert! I'm just a fan of pretty ladies!"
He attacked the tree with his (mighty) axe.
"So she's a celestial wizard?!" the lady stated.
"Nice work Taurus!"
"Why don't you reward me with a smoooooch!"
"What kind of celestial wizard forces their spirits to say something like that? You disgust me."
"I didn't force him to say that! I hate it when he's pervy!"
Taurus moaned in response.
"Well, your kind don't like my magic. And you're about to find out why."
"Taurus! Go!" she ordered.
He ran towards the other wizard before stopping and lowering his axe. The pink haired woman giggled before the spirit attacked the blonde.
"What are you doing?! Stop it!"
Taurus twirled his weapon before slamming it into the ground to strike her.
"What did I do to you?!"
He pins her down after slamming down his axe.
"Ms. Lucy! I can't control my mooovements!"
"Marionette Attack Magic," she answered.
"You like? It allows me to control any living thing. Well except for humans that is. It works well on your spirit friend."
"Please! Let me go!"
"I wish that I could Ms. Lucy! I can't help it! She's controlling my every mooove!"
"Close now! Gate of the Golden Bull!"
They both struggled to move.
"I thought celestial gates couldn't close unless both parties consent to it," she taunted.
"Close the gate! Taurus please!" Lucy begged desperately.
"Beg all you want. It won't make a difference."
"Taurus!"
"Oh I know! Let's play a round of Russian Roulette Punches. Close your eyes and punch until you get a hit."
The spirit closed his eyes and punched the ground next to his wizard's head. She barely dodges.
"Fine. How long can you dodge before you wear out?"
He raised his fist and punched the ground again. She barely moves her head out of they way.
"Don't hit me!"
"I'm trying not to!"
He puts both his fist together hits the ground after the celestial wizard moved her head.
"Are all Fairy Tail wizards as pathetic as you? This is just sad."
"Taurus! Remember the contract you made with me! Snap out of it!"
Flash back
"So your name's Lucy huh? Your body's so hot it's making me drool!"
He wiggled with hearts in his eyes, "Oh look at you!"
"I never would've imagined that the Zodiac's Golden Bull was such a pervert. I don't know if I wanna go through with this."
"Moo! There's no need to worry, pretty lady!" Taurus flexed, "If you make a contract with me, I'll do everything I can to protect yooouuu and your hot bod tooo."
"Promise?"
He wiggled again, hearts everywhere this time.
"I swear!"
End of flash back
"You promised you'd always be around to protect me, remember?!"
His eyes start to flash a bit. He holds his head and screams in pain.
"Hey! What do you think you're doing?! Just finish her off already!"
He raises his fist once again.
"Remember what she said! We gotta send you back but we gotta work together! You gotta fight it Taurus!"
His pupils disappeared and appeared again. Until it disappeared. He raised his fist and nearly struck her until he stopped. He glowed and disappeared back to the spirit world.
The marionette woman gasped in shock. The celestial wizard lied there processing what had happened to her.
She raised her hands, "It worked."
"She beat it. My marionette attack magic failed me. But how could this happen?"
"Oh wow. I've gotten stronger."
She pulled out her whip, "Watch out! Cause you're dealing with a full-fledged Fairy Tail wizard now!"
