Lindsey's POV:
After Maddie left, Charlie and I went into the kitchen. We set at the table eating cereal, brainstorming what we were going to do about Maddie.
About half way through this conversation a group of shirtless boys walked into the room, my jaw dropping to the floor.
"Did Niall come back yet," Char asked them, and they all said no.
Liam walked over to Charlie and gave her a peck on the lips.
"How are you feeling," he whispered to her and she said she was doing better. My ease dropping was cut off by someone asking me a question.
"So your the backup?" Louis asked me and I nodded.
"You look familiar," Harry said to me.
"Yeah I was there when y'all hung out with Maddie and Charlie's friends back in Texas," I reminded and he smiled.
"I'm sorry love? But what's your name again?," Louis asked and I couldn't help but blush. God dammit Lindsey hold yourself together. Remember your badass. Badass girls don't blush.
"Lindsey," I said confidentially.
"Well it's nice to meet you again Lindsey." Louis said and The rest of the boys nodded saying hi.
"So, what are we going to do about this?" Harry said taking a seat by me. The rest of the boys took a seat and we started talking.
"I can't help but think it's all my fault," Zayn said putting his head in his hands.
"It's not your fault Zayn," Liam said putting his hand on his shoulder. "Niall just jumped to conclusions, any of us could have misunderstood."
Looking over at Char I saw her smiling at her boyfriend. They were the cutest couple and I couldn't help but be jealous. I wish I had a boyfriend like Liam.
"Excuse me," Charlie said with a glare. I gave her a confused glare confused on what she was talking about. Then thinking back I remembered what I just thought.
"Wait did I say that out loud?" I questioned.
"Yes, yes you did," Char said still glaring.
"My b," I said with a awkward laugh as all the boys looked at me.
"Okay, so what are we doing about Maddie?" I say quickly trying to change the subject before it got even more awkward.
"I have a plan," Harry said and we all directed are attention towards him.
"How about Char and Lindsey go look for Mads, and Me and the boys all go look for Niall," he says. We all nod in agreement and go get ready. Once were done, we all meet back in the the kitchen.
"Once you find one is them, call and let us know," Char says and we all nod, heading towards the door.

Maddie's POV:
Walking into the apartment I took a seat down on the couch.
"Thank you so much for meeting me," I told our guitarist, Dan. I was always friends with Dan, and he seemed like a really nice person. All I new was that I had to get away from everyone, but I still didn't want to be completely alone.
"It's not problem," he tells me handing me something that looks like tea. Without question I downed it, the hot liquid soothing my throat.
"So, how have you been?" He asked me politely taking a seat on the couch.
"I've been better," I tell him with a half smile. And it's true, I have been better. I have been a billions times better. But I can't let myself break down in front of everyone. That just shows how week I am. And most of all I don't want the pity. All my life I got pity because my family and I hated it. I just wanted people to care about me for me. Not what is happening in my life.
"I bet," he places his hand on my shoulder and I awkwardly shift away from him. He notices taking his hand of my shoulder and giving me a smile.
"So why did you call," he asked me.
"So I have kind of a strange favor to ask of you."

Charlie's POV:
"Okay, we have checked all the chicken joints in town," I read of to Lins as we checks of the check list we made.
We listen all of Maddie's favorite places to go and checked the periodically. Knowing her there's a 89% chance she at a place with food. And if it's not food, it's most likely going to be music.
"I mean we have checked any local bars," said Lins with a sad smile. Knowing Mads on any normal situation she would never go to a bar and drink her feelings away. But this time I'm not totally sure.
"How about the cake shops," I chimed in, knowing that would be a more likely place.
"Yeah, let's try those first, and then we can try bars," Lins said and I nodded starting up the car.
We have been at this for about 2 hours now, and it seems like the boys haven't had any luck either. I keep texting Liam and checking up, but they haven't seen anything either.
"Okay, here's the first closest cake shop on the right," Lindsey said I pulled over. We walked in, checking the bathrooms also before leaving and heading to the next.
We went to three more before we got to one that looked slightly familiar.
"Hey, were kinda near the hotel," I told Lindsey, pulling into the parking lot of the cake shop.
We get out of the car and make are way towards the door. Once inside we sigh with relief.
"Mads," Lins says walking over and wrapping her arms around her.
"Hey guys," she says, looking like she's on the verge of tears. Whatever she has been doing obviously made her emotional because she did not look this bad earlier.
"Hey babe," I tell her wrapping my arm over her shoulder. "We should go back to the hotel so we can get some sleep," she nods but doesn't move.
"Well are we going to go?" I asked her and she looked at me confused.
"We have to wait for my cake first," she says, pointing at the front desk.
"Oh, of course," Lins says laughing and so do I.
I stand up, telling them I will be right back. Walking out of the store, I pull out my phone and call Liam's number.
"Hey, did you find her," was the first thing he said when he answered the phone.
"Yeah, at the cake shop by the hotel," i could hear a small laugh on the other end of the phone and i slightly smile.
"So im guessing yall still havent found Niall," I sadly say and he agrees.
"Were still looking. If we don't find him before 8 were going to go home and try again tomorrow," he told me and I nodded, realizing he couldn't see and then decided to agree.
"Okay well were heading back, good luck on finding him," I told him as I hung up.
"Find who?" I hear behind me. Turning around I see Maddie standing there, Lins trotting up behind her.
"No one important," I told her but she didn't believe me.
"He's still not back is he?" She asked and I nodded slowly. I saw her eyes tear up and I couldn't help but run up to her wrapping my arms tightly around her.
"It's all gonna be okay Mads, you just have to let him breathe, he will come back. No doubt about that." I reassured her hoping she believed me. I realized when I said this though that I was also trying to reassure myself. I can't stand to see my best friend like this.
"Let's go back and get some sleep," Lins said, grabbing Mads arm and guiding her to the car.
We drove in silence and to lighten the mood I turned on some fun music.
"Char what the hell is this?" I heard Mads mumble as Dragon Tails blare through the speakers.
"Just wait," I said and they raised an eyebrow at me. Slowly the song started to speed up and I smiled, my favorite part.
Blaring through the speakers the song almost stopped as the words 'Fuck You' came through the speakers. Followed by a sick beat drop.
Looking over at Mads a huge smile crossed her face.
"God this is priceless," Lins mumbled through a laugh and I couldn't help but laugh also. Soon enough we were all laughing and it felt good to see Mads smile.
Once we neared the end of the song once we pulled in. Getting out of the car we went straight up, Maddie crashing the minute she hit the bed.
