We spent the next week which was four days alone in Damien's house. I started to wonder how Rosie was. I hadn't asked about her at all.
Suddenly I remembered that I was starting school soon. I looked on my phone to check what day it was. It read Saturday. I sighed. I still had to get our uniform.
"Shimmer!" Damien whispered into my ear as he hugged me from behind.

"Me and Rosie are starting school soon. I still need to get our uniform and I also haven't been to Nightfall in a while!" I said in frustration.

I was confused! But I pushed the thought away and decided to choose what I was going to wear.

"What did you make?" I asked.
"Mince pasta." He smiled as he gave me a fork.

We then washed the dishes. It was fun for some reason. It was either because I could smell Damien's aftershave or because he was making me laugh so much.
