Mizuki's POV
Today we entered the chunin exams and I was prepared for anything that was thrown at me.
I had all my weapons with me along with my scrolls and I have my gear on along with my headband.
"I will pass this. I will defeat everyone in my path." I say to myself in the mirror.
I leave the house without a word to Kakashi as I walk to the chunin exams building.
I don't see Naruto, Sasuke, or Sakura so they must be inside already so I go in also.
I see them talking to some other ninja mostly Neji, TenTen, and Lee and I look around noticing the genjutsu.
"Hn pathetic." I say walking past my teammates.
"Mizuki!" Sakura yells.
"What?"
"Where are you going?" She asks as I turn to meet her eyes.
"To the door. You guys can sit here and waste time but I'm going." I say walking away.
I find the door and I see Kakashi standing there waiting and he sighs as he walks up to me.
"Good it's just you. We need to talk."
"About?"
"You killing that Akatsuki member yesterday."
"He came after me."
"Yet you didn't show mercy. Sasuke said you had no emotion. Nothing." He says looking at me with concern.
"It doesn't matter. They killed my family. They are all going to die." I snap back.
"Kakashi Sensei!!" Naruto yells from behind us.
"Hey guys." He says waving.
"I'm here to greet you and tell you that it's good you all came. If one of you wouldn't have came then this would have been the dead line for team 7."
"But you said we all had our own choice." Sakura says.
"Yes but I didn't want anyone being pressured so go ahead and walk in." He says stepping aside.
Everyone walks in except me cause Kakashi grabs my arm and pulls me back for a second.
"Mizuki I know they killed your family but you don't have to be a ruthless killer."
"Leave me alone Kakashi. I'm just a brat right?"
"Mizuki I didn't mean that."
"Yes you did. Just let go of me!" I yell and he pulls his hand back.
"You burned me."
"It wasn't me. It was that something inside me I was telling you about. It protects me." I say as I walk in the door.
Everyone was staring at the rookie 10 and I just look at Naruto who was being hit by Sakura.
I look over at Sasuke to see Ino hanging around his neck which ticks me off as I walk toward her.
"Why don't you get your hands off him!" I yell pushing her off.
"Why? It's not like you guys are dating." She says standing up.
"Yeah we're not. But he obviously doesn't like some pig fangirl." I snap at her.
"Do you wanna fight orphan?" She asks getting closer.
"Sure pig."
The word orphan doesn't bother me anymore but I was fired up from being jealous.
"No your not fighting." Sasuke says wrapping his arms around my waist.
"I'll get you after the chunin exams pig."
I turn to face Sasuke and he gives me a small smile which I couldn't help but return.
"You are my girlfriend since the land of waves." He says sadly.
"I don't want them yelling at me." I say as I look around.
No one was looking at us so I kissed him quickly and we both smile then we turn when we hear a door open.
"Okay come up and get a card that has a number on it and hand in your papers." Ibiki says holding up a card.
"Good luck baby." Sasuke whispers in my head.
"Same too you." I say while smiling.
I walk up to the front handing my paper over and getting a card while the man smirks at me.
"Have a problem?" I snap.
"No it's the second Hatake."
I walk away as I look down seeing my number is 23 so I walk to my seat seeing Sasuke two seats to my left.
I look forward to see one seat over is Sakura and straight in front of me with Naruto in front of her.
I was seated next to Kabuto and some grass ninja as I keep to myself as Ibiki says the rules.
Basically no cheating is the key but the way he is saying it, it sounds like he wants us to cheat just for us not to get caught.
"Begin!" He yells and I flip my test over.
I stared at the questions and I answered the ones I knew then there were three or four I needed to cheat on.
I looked up and saw TenTen using her weapons so I start doing hand signs as I get a little marble in my hand.
I put Sasuke's name on it and I drop it as it carefully hits the ground and finds Sasuke.
It gets next to him as it stares at his test giving me the answers through another marble.
I finish as I sit back and relax waiting for the 10th question when I hear numbers being called.
I look around to see ninja getting up and leaving because they got caught cheating.
I put my hair up in to a ponytail so it won't get in my face as I look around the room at the chunin watching us.
I see one that catches my eye and I look at it closely seeing that it's a puppet not a real person.
"People are so oblivious." I mumble to myself.
"What do you mean?" Kabuto asks staring at me.
I look down at his test to see its finished and I point at the chunin from under the desk.
"What about him?"
"It's not a him. It's a puppet which means that is an it."
"How do you know it's a puppet?"
"If you look closely at its face. Like if you have good eyes you can see pieces of the face chipping off."
"Wow. Your very good at studying people."
"I have a skill. I can piece together people by watching how they act."
"Then do me."
"Hm Kabuto you are here again for the 7th time, you said?"
"Yes."
"Well I think that you failed on purpose but that's your reason not mine to know. You are strong mostly in probably healing. Your smart but act as if your weak so people think they have the advantage."
"Wow your right."
"Well don't underestimate me."
"Okay do Ibiki." He says and I look at Ibiki.
"Well I know he's on the information gathering core. He is the one that uses mental torture. He was probably tortured himself before. He is probably single and lives alone. Doesn't want to get close to someone because he's afraid to lose them." I say crossing my arms.
"Why do you assume that?"
"Cause he doesn't have a ring and he doesn't seem like he wants to be broken again."
"Hm one more. Let's do a genin, how about that werid Kankuro kid." He says and I look around until I find him.
He is probably a puppet user because I saw him earlier with this thing on his back that was wrapped in bandages. He has that purple stuff on his face to show that one poison doesn't affect him. His puppet is that fake chunin and he doesn't have parents and he scared of Gara." I say and he nods his head.
"Your good."
"Why don't you give it a try?"
"Fine who should I do?"
"Do that girl with the pink hair." I say referring to Sakura.
"Well from what I saw she is strong. She is smart because it doesn't look like she's cheated off anyone. She seems to hold her own when it comes to people looking down on her." He says and I shake my head.
"Your okay. She's my teammate but she isn't as strong as you think you have to get her mad or in a position that puts her on her own. She is a fangirl that crushes over Sasuke. She has a rival which is Ino. But she is smart and does hold her own." I say when my name is called.
"Mizuki Hatake would you like to say what your talking about or listen to the 10th question?" Ibiki asks and I smirk.
"Hm is that right Ibiki." I look around to see the question was asked because more people already left.
"Well it seems that you already used your mind games and got people to leave. But Naruto convinced the rest go stay." I say standing up.
"Wow impressive. Why don't you keep explaining." Ibiki insists.
"You set this test up. These nine questions didn't matter. The 10th question was the one that mattered because it was your choice to stay or leave. You wanted people to think cheating was the only way to pass. You wanted them to gather information in order to pass. It's like a mission because information is one of the best things to get on a mission." I say with my arms crossed.
"These men around the room were watching to see who cheated and was bad at it. One of these chunin were fake also which none of you seemed to notice. So to sum this up because my legs are tired. We cheated and didn't get caught and we passed so we move on to exam two." I say as I sit down.
"Ms. Hatake that was impressive. I want to talk to you soon." He says when a lady busts through the window.
"My name is Anko your next proctor! Let's go maggots!" She yells leaving the room.
"Mizuki Hatake stay back for a second." Ibiki says and I stay seated.
Once everyone leaves and Ibiki finished collecting everyone's papers he comes over and sits next to me.
"How did you figure out the test?"
"I observe everything around me closely. It seemed that when you told the rules you were saying cheat but don't get caught. The people around the room just were obvious. I observed you as well." I say while standing up and leaving.
"She sure is something. I'm not surprised from the clan she came from." Ibiki thought to himself.

That is the end to exam one!! Did you notice that Mizuki was surrounded by Kabuto and the "grass ninja"?? Well two updates in one day I'll work on another chappy soon!!
