I sit on the back porch as the sun rises, eating breakfast my aunt had made and occasionally sipping on my glass filled with lemon water. One of my favorite things in the world is watching the sun rise and set. The beauty is magical and makes me feel a way I could never explain. It's crazy what the sky could do, let alone nature and the universe.
I grab my phone and notice I had received a text message. I unlock my phone before pressing the message app and then clicking on the message from my mom.
Birthgiver- Good morning my sweet girl. Just wanted to say I love you and hope you are loving New Jersey as much as we are missing you. Also a bit of an update for you. Cole parents were contacted by the school, letting them know about what he had caused on you. Apparently it got around school again when you left, causing a big deal. Not to mention, your father had said something to his dad. All is well now and he wont be bothering you again, we hope. Just wanted to give you the news we received late last night. Send love to Macy, Mark, and Emercyn. Muah.
Me- Good Morning ma. Hope you have an awesome day at work. I do miss you loads but I am so relieved to be here. I'm glad to hear that Cole most likely wont be a problem anymore; that's so much weight off my shoulders. I will be sure to send them your love. I love you❤️
After I sent the text, the back door opens. I turn my head to see Emercyn walking tiredly over to me. She pulls out the chair beside me and sit down as stares at me before rubbing her eyes.
"How are you up so early?" She asks, her voice cracking on every other word.
"I don't know." I tell her. She nods her head before taking a bite of my food.
"Hey." I whine.
"Thanks." She smiles. I roll my eyes and shake my head at her as she eats my breakfast.
"You know there is more in the kitchen right?"
"Did you know that food that isn't yours always seems to taste better?" She mocks. I lightly hit her arm in a jokingly way before we sit in silence.
Emercyn tells me about what she has planned for the day. Since it's a week day, Aunt Macy and Uncle Mark are at work while we are here at home. Most of Em's friends are in school so she just plans on getting a few things done.
"I want to go shopping, I need to get some jeans and I need your help on something." I nod my head at her.
"In a month and a half, it will be the twins birthday. I want to get Ethan something cute but i don't know what to get him. It's hard shopping for a boy." She tells me.
"And you think I'm going to know? We still have a month and a half. We should be fine on figuring something out." I tell her, letting out a small laugh while grabbing my dirty dishes and standing up. Emercyn follows along as we head inside and I put the dishes into the sink.
Emercyn leaves the room right around the time my phone begins to ring. When I see the caller ID on my phone, I bite my lip to keep from smiling too much as I press the green button, indicating that I had answered the call.
"Hello?" I answer.
"Good morning, babe." I hear, his voice raspy from just waking up.
"Good morning."
"What do you have planned today? I want to take you out." Grayson says.
"Plans with Em." I tell him as I head for the stairs.
"Guess I'll have to steal you from her." He say jokingly, but half of me wished he was serious just because I want to be with him right now. I let out a little laugh as I enter my room.
"I'm gonna let you go. Ethan and I will be over in five so I can talk her into letting me have you for the day." He says.
"Okay, I love you."
"Gosh I get so excited when you say that." He says in a half high pitched voice. "But I love you too. Bye babe." I smile as we end the call and I practically scream.
I go into my closet and grab out some clothes. I change into a pair of ripped skinny jeans and a loose white shirt with my black converse. I left my hair its normal before walking out of my room, practically running into Emercyn.
"I'm locking you in your closet." She says pushing me. I look at her confusedly.
"What?"
"Hayden get in the closet!" She shouts making me laugh. I try to pry her arms off me which only caused me to laugh harder as she literally pushed me with all force into my closet.
"EMERCYN WHAT THE HELL?" I laugh. I hear her mumble something before I hear the front door open. They twins are here.
"Emercyn I swear to god if you do not let me out right now-" I was about to threaten the dog shit out of her until she interrupted me.
"Shut up." She says before I hear her walk out of my room. I try to open my closet door but it wouldn't budge. How the hell did she lock me in here?
I look for anything that could possibly help me get out. Nothing seemed to be good enough at all. I here voices and footsteps coming up the stairs.
"She left Grayson." Emercyn says.
"You're not a good liar Em." He says. "Where is she?" He adds.
"Not here."
"Emercyn." I hear Grayson say annoyedly, causing Ethan to laugh. "Theres no way she isn't here. She told me she had plans with you."
"She does. But she isn't here. Because she isn't going with you." Emercyn tells him.
I hear them arguing which made my brain hurt. I try twisting the door to unlock it again but it still did not work. I roll my eyes and huff.
"EMERCYN LET ME OUT." I shout. "GRAYSON IM IN MY FUCKING CLOSET."
I hear foot steps again and more shouting as they reached my door. I began to laugh as Grayson and Emercyn shouted very rude names at each other before the door opens.
When the door opens, Grayson is standing there before walking in and pulling me into a hug. I look at Em who looked very pissed off at Grayson. Ethan wrapped his arms around Emercyn's waist, kissing her cheek and whispering in her ear.
I laugh at her as she pouts and I slowly pull away from Grayson who still holds my arm. "Emercyn you locked me in the closet so Grayson couldn't take me out? Are you serious?" I say, laughing here and there.
"Yes because we have plans today." She says.
"Take Ethan. We can do the other part tomorrow." I tell her, gesturing toward her boyfriend who has his arms wrapped around her waist, with his head resting in the crook of her neck.
Ethan mumbles a yeah before kissing her cheek. She lets out a sigh nodding her head before turning to him and planting a kiss on his puckered up lips. She pulls away with an amused expression causing all of us to laugh.
"You were ready for that, weren't you?" She asks. He just gives her a smug look and shrugs his shoulders before dragging her out of the room.
I turn to Grayson and wrap my arms around his neck right about the time he slithers his arms around my waist.
"So." I say, looking up to his beautiful hazel eyes. "What are the oh so wonderful plans you have for us?" I ask.
He leans down and kisses me before pulling away. "You'll have to come to find out." He smirks. I pull him closer and kiss him again.
The kiss grew into a heated make out session. This is the first time we had ever really made out and I begin to grow a zoo in my stomach. He lowers his hands under my thighs lifting me, causing my legs to automatically wrap around his toned torso.
Grayson presses his lips harder against mine not breaking the kiss as he gently lays me on the bed. He hovers on top of me and pulls away, staring me in the eyes. He shifts all his weight to left arm as he reaches up with hus right, lightly stroking my face and tucking a strand of hair behind my ear.
"You're so beautiful, Hayden." He whispers. "Why don't you see that?" He adds. I turn my head away but he stops it, turning me to face him again.
"Don't hide from me." He pouts, leaning down and pressing small kisses on my cheeks. I wrap my arms around his neck, tangling my fingers in his hair.
He brings his lips back to mine and it made me feel pleased. As if I was pleading for him to do it again, his lips captivating me. He slides his tongue into my mouth, taking me by surprise, causing me to tug on his hair, which caused him to let out a small moan.
He quickly pulls away and lets out a laugh. He takes both of my hands and pulls me up with him. I feel my cheeks heat up, but I couldn't help smiling. I probably looked like a weird, crazy, obsessed fan at this second.
"As much as I would love to continue that, we have plans, and I don't want to rush you into anything." Grayson says softly, placing a small kiss onto the top of my head.
"Let's go babygirl." He takes my hand and pulls me out the door with him. What in the world does this boy have planned for us?
