Harry's pov
I sat on the couch for about ten minutes, lazily shoving pizza into my mouth. I was currently watching an episode of the walking dead. I was never really into zombies. I just wanted to see what all of the big fuss was about over this show. Zayn was telling me about it the other day.
While I was watching the characters run and mindlessly shoot at the zombies, I oddly remembered my stepsister. I think she's had enough punishment for tonight. I should let her free so she could get ready for bed and school tomorrow. I looked over at the wooden grandfather clock and the time read 2:30.
Wow, it's late.
Anna's probably already asleep. I thought to myself as I forced myself to get off the couch. I stood up and stretched out causing myself to let out a groan. I grabbed the remote from the coffee table and turned off the T.V. I tossed the remote on the sofa and made my way upstairs.
Once I reached the top I made my way down the hall to Anna's room. I peered my head inside. "Anna are you awake?" I whispered. I fully opened the door and what my eyes saw made me want to break something.
She's gone.
"Fuck!!" I cursed under my breath. "How the hell did she escape without me knowing?"
I looked over at the open window. I strode across the room to the window. I looked down on the ground to see if I saw her or at least a trace of her.
Not again.
"What the hell am I going to do now?"
As if it was on cue my phone rang, showing Carine's name across the screen.
"Shit!"
I swiped my thumb across the screen to answer. "Hello?"
"Hey Harry, it's Carine. I just called to check up on you guys."
I forced a laugh. "Oh, everything is all good. No worries" I assured her.
"Well you know it's past your and Anna's bedtime'? Well, it's past Anna's bedtime. You can sleep whenever you want. It'd be silly to give you a bedtime." Carine laughed.
I forced a laugh as well. "Yeah, that would be weird."
"Well, your dad and I will be home tomorrow at eleven. I'm so ready to get back home to my children. I know I sound ridiculous but I'm still a mother. Well, you don't have to see me as a total mom to you but, you can if you want." She rambled.
"Oh umm it's okay for you to call me your son," I assured.
"Good! Oh and Harry did you scold Anna as I told you to for running away from school and missing curfew?" She asked. The question made my hands sweat.
"Uhh................ yeah, I did."
"What did you say to her?" She questioned.
Now my body was shaking. "I took away her phone," I replied.
What? I wasn't lying.
"Good. I'm glad you're acting like a responsible older brother to her. She needs a figure like you in her life to watch over her. Especially since her Father left. Well, David is her stepfather but, I feel like you two can relate more ya know?"
"Yeah, I get what you're saying," I said.
"Well, goodbye Harry I gotta go. I'll see you tomorrow when your father and I get back." She said.
"Okay."
"Bye Harry." She said.
"Bye." I hung up and shut the window. I paced across the room. Where the hell could she have gone? I stopped in my tracks. An idea popped into my head.
Nina's house.

Anna's Pov
Nina and I were currently sleeping in her bed. She was squishing me up against the wall because is a wild sleeper and took up all of the space. At least I'm not at the edge where she can kick me off like the last time we had a sleepover.
I heard someone knocking downstairs. "Nina," I whispered.
She groaned and stirred in response. I shook her lightly.
"Nina someone's knocking," I said.
She groaned. "Why don't you get it then?"
"Because it might be Harry. Now go get the door." I ordered.
She sighed and rolled out of bed. "Fine. You and your brother are working on my nerves." She said before disappearing into the hallway.
The knocking continued on until I heard Nina yell "I'm coming, my goodness!"
I crept to the balcony at the top of the stairs to hear who was at the door. I heard an all too familiar voice that I did not want to hear.
"Where the fuck is she?"
