OMNISCIENT
Maya didn't realise but her hands involuntarily got wrapped around Massimo's bicep as if staking her claim. The small movement didn't go unnoticed by Vincent nor Sasha, but being a stupid girl she dismissed it and kept looking at Massimo with dreamy eyes. Back off bitch! Maya wanted to yell, but she simply forced a smile.
Massimo being oblivious didn't notice it, as he was used to having unnecessary attention from females. Though he did notice Maya's hand circling around his bicep, and he wouldn't lie it did make him want to keep her by his side forever, especially when he noticed few men looking at her, appreciating what's his with their eyes.
Look was all they could do, Massimo thought. Maya was all his only.
Vincent knew Sasha wouldn't give up, so he simply introduced him to her and others. "Guys meet Massimo, a friend of mine that I've once worked for." Massimo raised an eyebrow at his introduction. Obviously, Vincent couldn't say much about him, like telling them all who he actually was.
"And Massimo these are my fellow employees, more like brothers who work for the Special ops." Vincent introduced them all, saying their name one by one. "...is Milo and Sasha." On hearing his name, Milo offered his hand to Massimo to shake. Milo actually knew who Massimo was, as he had been there with Vincent when they had worked together for him.
"Pleasure to meet you again." Milo said, to which Massimo nodded his head at him while shaking his hand. As they broke their handshake, Sasha was quick to move forward and taking Massimo's hand in hers. "Hi, it's so nice to meet you." Massimo didn't want to look rude so he just let her shake his hand, but on the inside he didn't like how she was looking at him from under her fake eyelashes, and that weird grin she was sending his way.
"And who's this beautiful lady with you?" Vincent broke their weird interaction by interrupting, and also because he was curious to know who this girl was.
Now, all of them were looking at Maya and she immediately gave them a shy smile as just a while ago her eyes were glaring daggers at that Sasha girl. 'Can't she take a hint? He's with me!'
"Uh she's Maya." Massimo spoke. "She's my date for the day." Keeping a smile on her face, Maya couldn't decide if to feel happy that at least he didn't say my friend, or to be upset that he had only said my date.
'What else could he have said anyway...it's not like he can tell them about me.'
Maya came out of her thoughts as she heard someone saying the bride has arrived.
"Go buddy. Your bride is here." Milo said as he nudged Vincent to go towards the stage. For a second, Maya saw a look on Vincent face as if he was about to either faint or punch someone.
"It is nice to have you here." Vincent said looking at Maya. "Enjoy the wedding." He then took a deep breath and then walked towards the stage muttering Don't faint you little bitch under his breath.

The wedding ceremony was ethereal. Maya couldn't remember the last time she had attended a wedding where a huge man cried this much on seeing his bride. It was both cute and hilarious at the same time.
Lisa, the bride looked like a princess in her wedding gown. The moment she entered the alter, Vincent started crying like a baby and everyone awed and cooed on seeing his pure reaction.
Massimo on the other hand was dumbfounded, on seeing a man like Vincent who wouldn't cry even after taking a damn bullet, crying like as if there's no tomorrow and that too on seeing his wife to be? Massimo found it a little too much.
During the entire ceremony, he couldn't help but to keep looking at Maya who also had tears in hers eyes at one point when those two started reciting their vows. Massimo had offered her his handkerchief, not liking her crying like that. 'Why the fuck is everyone crying?' He thought to himself.
It was when the priest finally declared them husband and wife, Vincent didn't even wait for another second and swept his wife off her feets and kissed her lips passionately.
Maya couldn't help but to feel happy on seeing such a lovely and romantic scene in front of her. While she was busy looking at the couple, she didn't realise Massimo was looking down at her with his intense brown eyes.

"Congratulations!" Maya said as she walked up to the stage with Massimo, to congratulate the newly wedded couple.
Vincent smiled up at her. "Thank you." He then looked at her wife, "Sweetcheeks meet my friend Massimo and his girlfriend Maya." On hearing this, Maya's eyes slightly widened. But neither her nor Massimo made any move to correct him.
"Hi! Thank you so much for coming." Lisa said giving them a warm smile. She could tell this Massimo guy was kinda like her husband, brooding as he only gave her a curt nod.
"Please enjoy yourself." Lisa then added looking at Maya, who gave her a warm smile back, there was a slight blush on her cheeks. 'How did a man like him got such a sweet girlfriend?' Lisa thought to herself. 'Just like how Vincent got you?' Her subconscious mind said back.

"Would you like to dance with me Massimo?" Maya wanted to groan but only gave a forced smile to Sasha who looked at her with innocent eyes as if she just didn't ask her man to dance.
"I don't dance." Came out his curt response. Maya bit down on her lip, trying not to smile widely. From the corner of her eyes she saw Sasha looking offended as if she couldn't believe he just rejected her. What else was she expecting?
"Oh well I can teach you you know." Sasha tried her luck once again, as this time she took a step towards Massimo and put her hand over his arm.
Maya had enough of her. "Would you like to dance?" Dismissing Sasha, Maya looked up at him, his eyes looking down at her. Massimo smirked inwardly as he could very well see the annoyed look in Maya's eyes behind that sweet, innocent smile that she was currently sending his way. 'Is she jealous?'
Taking her hand in his, Massimo brought it up. "I'd love to." And with that he took Maya towards where other couples were dancing. Maya stole a glance at Sasha who was already looking at her, she faked a smile at her. 'Take that bitch!'
As they reached the dance floor, Massimo didn't waste time and put his arm around her waist. Maya clutched him by his shoulders as he all of a sudden jerked her body towards his. They looked at each other, their bodies now moving with the soft music playing in the background.
"I didn't know you had that in you." Massimo amused.
Looking at him innocently, Maya said. "I don't know what you're saying." She simply shrugged it away.
They moved their bodies in sync with the music, "Did I tell you how beautiful you're looking today mio amore?" On hearing this, Maya slightly looked away from his intense eyes.
"Yes, yes you did." She simply replied, blushing a little.
"Really? Then why does it feel like no matter how many times I say it, it just doesn't seem enough to me." Massimo murmured, bringing his right hand to her face, he tucked a single strand behind her ear, but not taking his hand away. He then gently slided his fingers down her face, caressing her skin in the process. Goosebumps erupting on her skin from his mere touch.
The change of song to a much faster one got them out of their trance. Massimo loosened his arms around her body but not letting her go away from him.
"I see you two are enjoying yourself." Vincent came to their side, wearing a smirk on his face. He wouldn't have interrupted them but since Lisa was currently dancing with her father, he thought to have a little talk with them.
"Um I need to use the restroom." Maya said to no one in particular. She guessed maybe the two of them wanted to talk, so she thought to give them some privacy.
"Let me take you-" Before Massimo could finish his sentence, Maya interrupted him by saying, "It's alright I'll manage." She then gave him a small smile.
Massimo didn't want to keep Maya away from his eyesight, but he thought a washroom break wouldn't harm them.
Watching her going towards where the washroom probably was, Massimo didn't look away until she was away from his line of vision.
"Don't worry this place is guarded by my best men. She'll be fine." Massimo looked at Vincent as he said that.
"By the way, I never thought I would see the day when you look at someone especially a woman, with such care in your eyes." Vincent then commented.
"Well, looks like today's the day for a lot of new discoveries, for the both of us." Massimo responded. His not denying about the care statement proved Vincent's suspicion right about Maya being someone special to him.
"So....How the hell did you make her fall for you?" Massimo asked referring to Lisa. Vincent's eyes moved to his wife on its own, a smile came on his lips as he saw her giggling to something her father had said to her.
"I didn't, she did." Vincent replied. "She made me fall for her."
To this day Vincent couldn't believe how someone especially Lisa, could love someone like him. But he wasn't ungrateful, he cherished the mere thought of being hers with his entire being. And he wouldn't have it any other way.
"You know I can ask you the same damn thing." Vincent then said.
Massimo looked at him as if he didn't understand what he meant by that.
"I'd say I didn't expect anything different from you." Vincent then said. Of course Massimo was in denial, that's what every I'm-a-heartless-bitch-I-don't-do-love kind of man did. He knew that because he had been no different once, after all he had done the same thing in the past.
"She loves you, doesn't she?" This time Massimo couldn't hide the swirl of emotions that went past his eyes.
"And you know that but you don't reciprocate."
"Have you changed your profession from a special ops agent to a love guru?" Massimo taunted.
"This just proves I hit a nerve, didn't I?" Vincent was having fun tormenting Massimo like that.
Massimo preferred ignoring him. It seemed like no matter where he went he'd always come across Enzo's long lost brothers.
His eyes then went back to where Maya had gone to. He was expecting her to be coming from there any moment now. He impatiently tapped his foot on the floor while keeping his eyes there. When it was more than 15 minutes, Massimo didn't hesitate to go after her.
Vincent noticed the change in his behaviour but didn't comment anything. He didn't know their current situation, but he knew he'd have behaved the same way if it was Lisa in Maya's place.
Massimo was quick to reach the washroom, without wasting anytime he barged inside the female one making the women inside shriek. He went through every unoccupied cubicle and banged on every occupied cubicle asking if Maya was inside. Once he didn't find any sign of her there, he did the same with men's washroom just to be sure.
By the end, his jaw was tightly clenched and hands closed into tight fists ready to punch something with it. Everyone around him could sense the dangerous aura radiating out of him, that's why no one dared to stop him or ask him what's wrong. It was only after 10 or something minutes Vincent reached there followed by Milo and some other men.
"She's gone." Was all Massimo said in his dark, rough voice. He could feel the anger start to bubble inside his body. But the anger wasn't directed towards anyone but himself. He shouldn't have let her gone by herself! He should've followed after her! He should've gone after her once it had been more than 5 minutes!

Maya stirred half asleep, half conscious. Thankfully she didn't feel any ties around his hands or legs. She could feel something soft under her, as she slightly shifted herself she realised it was like a bed or something. Finally, she was able to open her eyes and as she did her eyes came in contact with the surrounding of what looked like a bedroom.
She realised she was on a bed, still wearing her dress. The room looked normal and not some creepy, abandoned one.
She tried to remember how she ended up here in the first place. All she could recall was coming out of the washroom and then when she was about to go back to Massimo, something or more like someone put a cloth over her face and then she fainted.
Maya couldn't help but to think back to the last time when she had gotten kidnapped by Dino. A shudder ran through her body on fearing what if he was able to kidnap her once again. But as she looked at the room, she realised it looked different than the one from Dino's room. Although it could be some other room as well. Maya just prayed it wasn't Dino, but if not him then who else could've kidnapped her.
Maya's head moved towards the door as she heard the sound of door being unlocked. Looking at the door with anticipation, Maya waited for whoever it was to make an appearance.
As the door got opened, a woman in her late 40s could be seen. But as she entered inside and Maya's eyes landed on her face, for a second or two she just looked at her but then her eyes widened when she realised who it was.

"Are you sure?" Vincent asked looking at a very angry Massimo. "Have you checked outside? Maybe she's back there."
"No, I know she isn't. I just know." Massimo said through gritted teeths.
Vincent took a step towards him, not being scared of Massimo unlike others who would rather maintain their distance from a raging man. "I'll have my men look into the cctv." He then said. "We'll surely find out something."
"You said it was guarded by your best men?!" Massimo had never been the one to blame others, but currently all he could think of was Maya. How she could probably be in danger at the moment.
Vincent knew what Massimo was going through and he couldn't even fathom what he would've done if it was Lisa in Maya's place. So, he didn't mind Massimo's words. Also, Massimo was right in a way as Vincent had his best men guarding and still someone got away under their watch.
Vincent started barking orders to his men, not caring about the rest of his wedding. Thankfully the wedding ceremony was about to end anyway. He had told Lisa about everything who insisted he should take care of it first and that she could wait for him. That's why Vincent loved his Lisa so much, she was never the one to think about herself only, she was just so selfless.
Massimo pulled out his phone since he didn't want to just stand here and do nothing. He knew Vincent had enough men but he wanted to be ready just in case. So, he called his men including Enzo and told them about the entire situation. All the time it was getting difficult for Massimo to not stop thinking about what Maya must be going through. He just hoped and bloody prayed that she was alright. The mere thought of something happening to her was enough to drive him mad, and he didn't like being doing nothing about it!
It was always her, only in her case he was completely hopeless and he just didn't know how to deal with things without hurting her. It was only in her case that he would feel so helpless, a feeling that he had never felt before. And it was one of the reasons why Massimo didn't want to get involve with her, because he knew she was dangerous for him. But could he have stopped himself? No...he just couldn't stop himself from falling in love with her.
