A day or two later, after sufficient amounts of data were gathered, the students, along with Sanemi, worked together to formulate a plan to take the demon down, and to take the five captured members back. Their teacher explained the plan and any details they may have had of the hideout. "Some of the scouts were able to make files on the place, and they take shelter in a building about a few miles East from the main headquarters. They were able to send some recording drone flies that were able to fully map out the place's vent shafts and rooms."
Tanjiro sighed, then said: "Well then, I have a good plan. Me, Kaigaku and Aoi will go in to break the five of them out. We're going to need quite a bit of the Slayers' technology."
Kaigaku just muttered: "Tch." and Aoi shrugged, replying: "Can't leave my best friend in there."
Sanemi got his message replied to. He then said: "I've relayed the message. They're letting you take anything you need within reason." Tanjiro grinned, then said: "Good. Zenitsu, get us 3 night vision goggles and some EMP devices. We need it to get in."
Zenitsu left the house and hopped on a nearby transport bus, headed on his way to the Corporation.
Later, Zenitsu brought the items back. Tanjiro nodded, muttering: "Nice. We have everything we need." Sanemi slapped Tanjiro's back, saying: "This better work, kid. Can't let my little brother die."
Soon enough, they were driving on their way. Zenitsu knew how to operate a motorcycle and he had legalized permission to do so, and so he drove with Inosuke and Kaigaku with him. Most of the others came in a truck and a small car. Soon enough, they arrived at the building.
Inosuke cupped his hands so that Tanjiro could hop over the gate. He did so, and stretched his arm out to Kaigaku and Aoi, both of who got in.
"Don't mess this up, ya hear?!" Sanemi yelled. "Got it." he replied, donning his goggles. The other two also did so, and they could see through the night as clear as day. When they got to a metal garage-like door, Kaigaku was ready to jab it open, but Tanjiro stopped him. "It could have an alarm system in there! Let's just use this EMP." he warned Kaigaku, sticking the bladed legs of an EMP device into the door. It soon deactivated, making it safe to open temporarily.
Kaigaku then stuck his blade beneath the door, and attempted prying it open. In a minute of trial and failure, he crashed it open, miraculously not waking anyone up. They proceeded to look for the Cell Block.
"Guys, I found it!" she called out, signaling them to come towards her. They proceeded down the stairs quietly, as they saw two demon men holding guns. One of them asked: "Whaddya think that man will do with that Mizuki kid?" The other one answered with: "Probably eat him up. I hear his Breathing Magic is passed by heart consumption. He'd want to have his power that's really well-rounded and powerful."
Tanjiro and Aoi nodded at each other, and silently went in for the kill. "Makes sens-" the first one agreed as he was interrupted by his death, fading to ashes before he could say anything.
Aoi, Kaigaku and Tanjiro proceeded, later finding a cell with five people in it. They could see an asleep Genya, a fainted Yushiro and Muichiro, a crying Kanao who was in a seemingly unfazed Isekai's arms (because his arms were the only one who had a feeling close to Tanjiro's). Isekai was stroking her hair gently, quietly trying to tell her that they would come for them.
"Psst... Isekai!" Tanjiro quietly called as Isekai turned his head right to find Kaigaku, Aoi and Tanjiro with goggles on.
"Tanjiro, Kaigaku, and Aoi? We're saved! Get us out of here, quick! Muzan's planning to eat us in a while! Muichiro and Yushiro haven't had water in a day, Kanao's been lovesick for nearly the entire time we've been here, and Genya... he's alright. Get us out, now!" he informed them. Kaigaku tried to use his magic to melt the lock. "Thunder Magic: Concentrated Beam of Heated Lightning!"
Concentrated Beam of Heated Lightning (The user points one or two fingers towards a desired location, and an extremely hot lightning bolt will be fired. Works best against machinery that overheats easily.)
Unfortunately, Kaigaku couldn't melt it. Tanjiro tried to slash it open, but it had no effect. They had tried different things for a straight five minutes. Sawing the lock with their blades, using a hair clip and their swords to pick the lock, pulling it off, and using Isekai's gun to shoot the lock's grip off. Neither of them worked.
In another room...
Rokuro was eating donuts, and he heard a blasting noise at the cell block. "What's that noise?" he asked himself. His voice echoed into the hallway, and sent chills up the trio's and Isekai's spines.
Isekai's instinct kicked in, and immediately told them: "Around the corner, their boss' room is there. Use that ventilation shaft, I think there's a way from there. Go, before he finds you!" as the three tried to find a way into the shaft.
Soon enough, the three got into the vent, and Rokuro walked out to check into the cell where Isekai, Kanao, Genya, Muichiro and Yushiro were locked up in. He noticed the air vent's lid on the floor. Rokuro just shrugged it off. "Eh, it's probably nothing. The ventilation lids were weak anyway." he told himself, looking at the cell, and teasing them. "Ohoho, desperate to escape already?"
Isekai let Kanao go for a bit, and ran up to grab the cell bars to distract him. "You sick bastard...! Let us out, damn you!" Rokuro laughed, and then shook his head. "I'm getting an extra Blood Magic out of this. I ain't letting this chance slip from my hands." he responded. He and Isekai chatted angrily and teasingly for a while, as the trio that were to save them accidentally busted into Rokuro's room. However, only Tanjiro ended up there.
Kaigaku facepalmed, then said: "Whatever... while you're down there, you may as well look for anything that can unlock that latch on the cell."
Tanjiro looked at his surroundings, eventually finding a key that said "Maximum and Experiment." He took it and asked what their cell was labelled. Aoi crawled back to read it. She came back and told him it was Maximum. "Perfect!" he replied gleefully. However, they could hear Rokuro returning.
Kaigaku got freaked out, then called Tanjiro. "Get over here already, redhead! The man's coming back!" Kaigaku stretched his arm out, and Tanjiro took it, carrying the key and the vent lid with him. He was pulled into the vent, and Tanjiro put it the vent shaft's lid back in perfectly.
Later, Tanjiro checked to see if Rokuro was still there. He told them it was safe and they came out. They unlocked the cell, and reunited with the trapped five.
Kanao pulled Tanjiro into a tight embrace, sobbing. Tanjiro stroked her hair, trying to calm her down. He then lifted her in his arms, not even caring if Isekai and Aoi would shoot a photo. Genya was woken up, fully okay. He threw Yushiro over his shoulder, and Kaigaku carried Muichiro on his back. They were about to walk up the stairs when they found the Experiment door. Aoi looked inside. "Guys... Is that a female kid in there?" she asks. Kaigaku also took a look, then said: "...Yeah... How are we even gonna fucking get her out?"
Tanjiro thought about it, then he remembered that the key he got wasn't just for the Maximum Security Cells, but it also contained the picker for the Experiment lab. Tanjiro piped in, saying: "I have a key to this room. It was the same key as the key that goes to your cell." he said, handing over Kanao to Isekai and pulling out the key and unlocking the door. The 8 of them walked in to find a little girl in a tube, and two young boys in a cell, one who had black hair, and the other who had dark brown hair. Both of them had hazel eyes.
Kanao recovered from her lovesickness and got up. She examined the room. One of the boys called out. "Please... Help us!" he begged. The other one followed, adding: "He wants to devour her!" Isekai took back his gun from Tanjiro and shot down the lock, freeing the two boys from their cell. He then asked them: "What are your names?"
The elder one introduced himself as Kiyoshi, while the younger one told them his name was Shoichi. Related to kids, Kaigaku was usually a complete asshole with seemingly no sense of kindness nor generosity or any good virtue, but he was acting very professionally when talking to the kids. He started by asking them: "Do you know that girl in the tube?"
Kiyoshi nodded, then said: "Our younger sister. That's Teruko. She has a certain Blood Magic that the weird looking man said that could help him. He wants to make sure it's compatible so that he can properly use it." as Kanao and Aoi tried to stop it. Eventually, Kanao and Aoi safely interrupted the experiment without triggering anything that could disrupt their operation. They freed the girl, who had seemingly just woken up.
Kanao asked her "Young lady, are you alright?" as she could only fearfully reply with "...please... don't... hurt me..." Aoi held her into an embrace, trying to calm her down. "Don't... take... my... regeneration..." To this, Aoi raised her eyebrow, questioning the regeneration magic needs. "Regeneration? Why would a demon need a regeneration magic?"
Genya shrugged, his guess being "Maybe to improve the speed of his regeneration?" He wrapped Kiyoshi and Shoichi into his octopus tentacles. "Either way, we're getting the hell out of here." he added, as he signaled the rest to follow him.
Boss's Office
Rokuro looked at his keys, when he noticed the Maximum and Experiment one was gone. "Wait, if that key is gone, that might mean..." he thought as he ran out to the cell block. And, to half of his surprise, the cell door was open. In extreme anger, all he could yell was: "Oh you MOTHER-"
Experiment Room
Rokuro's words echoed, allowing them to hear: "-FUCKERS!" as Kaigaku and Isekai realized they had no more time for idle chat. "Oh. Shit."
