Chapter 97: Done is Done

-----NO ONE'S POV-----

Days past since what happened that night. By 'that night' i meant since the dream she had with her sort of adoptive family. Sleep hasn't been on her side lately either. Every time she closed her eyes she could see their lifeless, emotionless expressions. Their blood dripping eyeless eye sockets that stared into her soul, calling out, '(y/n)' in an unsettling manner. She was used to sleepless night given that she has been in missions that lasted days at a time but like everyone else, even her body has a breaking point and this might just be it... It would be nice if someone who knew genjutsu would knock me out so i can sleep. Or someone like Ino? So they can use their kekkei gankai on me and force me to sleep but then that would just be taking the shortcuts. She sighed in thought.

She sighed and looked out the window. Outlines of houses lined by the streets and further off in the distance were tall buildings and skyscrapers. 
"Suburban area huh?" She whispered to her self tiredly. 
"You should really sleep." Gray said. I turned to him and smiled a bit.
"I couldn't even if i tried." She sighed then yawned. 
"You might pass out. A few hours of shut eye before we get down wont hurt." He urged.
"It's not like i don't want to. I just cant." 
She looked out tiredly blinking, staring off into the distance. 

Silhouette of tall buildings came into view, past the trees and the road. 
"We must be getting close." She mumbled. Gray looked out too, his two front paws gently pressed against the window frame. "Hmm.." He hummed. 
"We have about three hours until we get to UA. From then on, the bus will drop them off to their homes." Aizawa said glancing at (y/n). 
"Ah. I see." She trailed off. "What about me, sir?" she asked.
"You will be staying in UA where we can see and monitor you. We'll go visit your house soon to pickup a few things but for now, you will have to stay in the dorms." She nodded. She figured this would happen. To be monitored while staying in but what else were they supposed to do? It could be worse right? They could have expelled her. Sent her home and save their reputation from being run through mud. She couldn't help but think, what if it was for the best that she'd leave?

She sighed looking out the window. 
"I suggest you close your blinds, (Y/n)." Aizawa said making her look at him confused, tilting her head to the side. 
"But why Aizawa-sensei?" She asked him. The older male turned his body looked at her. All Might did too but he only looked down and pressed his lips together not wanting to say about the commotion outside. Aizawa sighed and looked at her sternly. "Just don't." He motioned for her blinds. She looked at it before finally deciding to lean in and pull them over the window. Just before she could fully close it she caught a glimpse of mad made barricades, beyond that were  damaged buildings and houses, piles and piles of debris on the now broken concrete road. broken glass shards littered the street, so did the occasional paper and wood some had markings that suggest fire was present a little while back. People rummaging through the streets and onto the piles salvaging whatever was left of the destruction. The damage must have been three blocks wide that stretched on to the horizon. Gray had shut the blinds for her and stared at her with furrowed eyebrows. 
"What did i just say?!" Aizawa in a hushed tone raised his voice and scolded her, his words coming from between his teeth. She shakily apologized and looked down at her hands twiddling them in hopes of feeling better. 
Murmurs filled her classmates at the back as they looked out the window. (y/n) glanced over her shoulder and saw their expressions as they passed the site. A pair of strong, fir, but gentle hands grabbed on to her shoulder and shook her lightly. She snapped her head facing whoever had planted their hands on her. Her eyes met with a glaring, half lidded black eyes staring at her firmly. 
"Look at me." And she did.
"Aizawa-sensei.." She lightly whispered with a dreaded feeling looming over her shoulder. One second glance at the commotion outside sent shivers down her spine. She knew about what had happen but the scale wasn't what she expected. Usually upon transforming into the tailed best form, a huge crater would be placed smack in the middle of where she stood but this was different. It looked like something big ran through and destroyed everything. Aizawa let go of her shoulder and continued to face her.
All Might stood up and grabbed on one of the poles for support. 
"Everyone settle down we're almost to UA." he said gaining the attention of the students. They scurried back to their seats but their eyes glanced outside.
The ones who were there during that day glanced at (y/n) to see her reaction. They were saddened and worried what she might think but stayed quiet nonetheless. There they saw Aizawa and (y/n) exchanging words.
