____________

THE CAVE'S OPENING   was iced and there was no way out anymore — unless she looked on the other side. So when Ella woke up, she first noticed that the only visible way out was blocked by a thin layer of ice. To her surprise, Sky wasn't there, but she could hear the clogs from a distance.

"Sky!", the Princess called for the unicorn and then she heard her make some kind of noise. Ella stood up, took hold of the ends of her dress and moved towards the dark end of the cave. The ice covered every single corner of the place.

The unicorn kept making noises, guiding her and when they found each other, Sky motioned the wall. Ella looked at it and then her hand found Sky's long hair, brushing it away from her eyes. But the unicorn kept looking at the wall and neighed as Ella wasn't paying attention anymore.

She hadn't eaten since she had put on the dress, which was easily more than a day ago, considering everything that had happened. The Princess was weak and when her knees were about to give in, the wall Sky had been looking at for minutes suddenly moved. It started disappearing — sliding like a moveable door. Ella leaned on the unicorn and brought her inside. The wall immediately closed.

Inside there was a long, dining table on which there was every imaginable type of food. Two chairs on each end and a fireplace nearby. She couldn't believe her eyes.

"What is this...", Ella murmured as she came back to her senses, probably due to the incredible sight. The unicorn neighed and gracefully walked towards the table and started eating whatever was served. The Princess took a moment to look around and admire the place. It was so warm that she was almost concerned that her powers would melt.

Just like solid water when it gets warm.

The room was enormous; the dining table and the fireplace were stunning — she couldn't be more grateful to whatever type of magic this was. She hoped it wasn't an illusion. Her eyes moved around and she caught a familiar object close to the wall, something she hadn't seen in months. Dumbledore's Pensieve.

With the help of it, she found out about her past so much more than she was told. Or at least what her parents could tell her with the limited time they had.

Ella's eyes caught the glimpse of a rolled up paper, tied up with a tiny red ribbon. She took it and then turned around, noticing that Sky was still devouring the given food. She smiled a little at her appetite and then focused on the ribbon, putting it away. She rolled it out and the young woman started reading.

" Ella,

you're wandering around without destination. The Pensieve is a gift I left for you, to help you find pieces of answers you need. Don't worry, whenever you need it, it will come to you.

The truth is yours.

Dumbledore. "

____________

"Know anything, son?", Narcissa sat down beside her son on his bed, placing a hand on his shoulder.

"She knows, mother. She knows who I am. She knows what I've done.", his broken voice and saddening words filled up the room. His mother sighed and pulled his body towards hers to hug him, as the tears of pain and regret started leaving his eyes.

"Draco... At some point, the greatest risk any of us will take, is to be seen as we are. I can't tell you that you should've told her before, because I know that you knew it wasn't right. She doesn't hate you... Her heart can't hate.", his cries didn't fade away at the caring words from the caring woman.
