_____________

DUMBLEDORE BROUGHT THE Princess to his office, where she was greeted by so many different pictures, little statues and sculptures. A huge shining phoenix perched on a twig, which seemed to simply float in the magic air. What Ella assumed was Dumbledore's desk, was situated in the middle of the room.

The Princess found herself looking around the enormous room. She was in awe.

"Take a seat, Ella.", Dumbledore motioned with his hand towards the chair he made appear. Ella blinked quickly, still not used to all the magic, and sat on the chair after thanking him. He also sat down in front of her.

"The Queen left.", he simply said looking at her.

"I know, sir.", she said, sitting straighter than before. She folded her hands on her lap and after Ella looked at her feet, she decided it was time to look in his intimidating eyes.

"Ella. I know that you have questions that still haven't been answered.", the phoenix flapped its wings and flew to Dumbledore, who extended his arm out for the animal to reach. "What I want to say is, that she had a reason to do so.", he caressed its crest.

"To go away?", he nodded at her question.

"Your father, Ella, in the past was not a man that acted in the right way. He did what he was asked to, or better said, what he was forced to do.", he looked at her. "We both know that right?"

"How do you know that?", Ella asked carefully, thinking that one wrong move might make her go away. He smiled at her curiosity.

"I knew your father.", he simply said.

"Now, Ella, I would like to show you something that will make you understand why... What happened, happened.", Dumbledore stood up and walked towards a huge piece of furniture.

Ella also stood up and looked at what looked like a wardrobe to her, Dumbledore opened it with a quick movement from his hand. A stone that was weirdly shaped (that almost looked like a small fountain to her, or a stony sink) got magically out, water was filled into the tool. The water was glistening. Suddenly the room started assuming a dark color, the candles faded in the darkness along with everything else, until only Dumbledore and the magic water were seen under Ella's eyes.

"What is this?", Ella whispered and got closer to the shining water.

"This Ella, is a Pensieve. It's where my thoughts finish at the end of a hard day.", he responded.

"What does it have to do with me, sir?", she asked confusingly.

He slightly laughed and motioned Ella to come closer to the object.

"You want to know more about your father and all the situations you've been in. It's going to help you. All you have to do is get closer to the surface.", Ella looked one last time at him with her brows furrowed and started getting closer to the glistening water.

The water wet her face and Ella turned her head to look at Dumbledore's calm face.
"What now—", an invisible force brought her in and then Ella was falling, while everything above her was fading.

The invisible force helped her to not fall completely on the hard black pavement. She was on her feet and looked around and then back up, from where she fell from.
"Is someone here? Professor Dumbledore?", Ella called.

Suddenly she heard footsteps coming and Ella out of anxiety, couldn't move and her breathing started becoming heavier than usual. "Oh God.", she took steps backwards until her back met the cold and hard wall. Ella put a hand over her mouth to prevent anyone to hear her alarming and heavy breathing.
