THE END; MAGIC FALLS OF LAYA

____________

THIRTY MINUTES LATER Ella woke up. Her eyes fluttering open and slowly adjusting to the low light in her room. She looked confusingly around her room and noticed a trail of yellow flowers leading to the open balcony.

Her feet touched the ground and her hands grasped a flower, her lips pulling into a smile. Ella finally stood up and followed the path of flowers, opening the balcony door completely.

Her eyes catching the sight of a million bright stars in the sky and the shiny moon. She sighed without realising that the most breathtaking sight was the man to her right.

"Draco...", he turned around facing his girl, a bouquet of yellow flowers in his hands. Ella looked at the flowers and smiled at him.

"Ella. You look gorgeous.", she laughed out loud at his words and took a look at her dress, suddenly remembering the last-minute nap. "I look like crap, but thank you. You... You look really... Really handsome.", she said, placing her hands on his chest, smoothing his shirt and tightening his tie.

A small smile appeared on his lips. A faint blush painting his cheeks at her words. He cleared his throat, looked down briefly and then met her gaze again.

"Thank you. Uh— Just wanted to, uh, talk a little? Yeah... Alright, uhm, it's here.", Draco put his hand on the small of her back and then moved to the small wall a few steps away. He sat down and took her hand, leading her to sit in front of him.

"I'm such an idiot.", he muttered under his breath. "These are actually for you.", he moved the bouquet in front of her, letting Ella take it happily from him.

"They're beautiful.", she murmured looking at them. Draco smiled at her and looked at the sky above them. "Maybe it's dangerous but, uh, I guess we don't know until we find out."

She looked at him confusingly and watched him move his body so that he was sitting on the edge and his legs were dangling down. Ella giggled and did the same.

"How is that dangerous?"

"I don't know!", he felt the air turn a little hotter and his hands a little sweatier.

"What did you want to talk about?"

"Just, uh, you know after your sister's coronation I just wanted to... Be on the same page with you... I know it's a big step for us—"

"Draco—"

"No, I get it, but I want us to try and I-I think that we've got this, quite frankly. I think we're perfect, Ella and I—"

"I've been meaning to tell you something.", she said slowly, interrupting him. He abruptly stopped talking and looked at her, a sudden anxiety invading his chest.

"Yes... Of course, go ahead, darling."

"I found out a place. It's called the Magic Falls of Laya.", she started saying. "Tiana was there and she saw people like me, Draco.", her words were strained by her throat as tears filled up her eyes. She looked at her bouquet.

"People who— People who can control wind and turn fire into water..."

"You... You want to go there?", Draco asked slowly, his gaze slowly meeting hers.
