A Mother's Heart

As sweet as candy, tough like rocks
Bodies controlled by the greatest force in nature
Hiding pains and worries in hearts locks
Strangers to no living creature

I run away from them when feeling detached and come back crying to their arms

A warm embrace. A firm and yet nostalgic, soft clutch
The biggest, most significant hug you can have
Your heart getting closer to a smooth touch
A mother's heart in halve

Even when the world turns its back on you
A mother's heart will always be there
Perhaps with even a stew
You will always have someone to give a care

The eyes that look into your soul, the arms that wrap you in the loveliest of times
That beautiful spirit that transcends all cultures, equal and dormant in every woman
They may be a little pushy and embarrass us sometimes
But that is what makes our mothers human

Being a mother means putting everything behind and taking care of your child. Even if it isn't biological, even if it isn't a child to begin with (or human for that matter). A mother's heart knows no limits but the ones put up by their loved ones. Against all pain, losses, suffering, and differences, their heart remains true to their feelings and dies for them in a heartbeat.

One must respect their motherly figures and acknowledge their effort, love and care they bring to us. Even if sometimes they are mistaken, overwhelming, overprotective, and such, having a mother's heart in your life is one of the best things you can have. If you are a mother, reflect your heart onto your care and love for someone. Be true to yourself and them.
