"So Raman your marriage is almost a decade old. Any special tip you would like to share? Like something for forever." A little tipsy Anuj nudged Raman who was enjoying his glass of wine.
"This forever is a myth Anuj so those whoever believes on it is living in some delusion world instead of real one. You know nothing lasts longer. Like nothing." The nothing carried so much in it which not anyone can decode, even Ishita who was boiling inside listening her husband words. "Everything meant to end someday so just do whatever you feel like just don't make yourself dependent on someone. You know jab koi bina bataye haath chuda kar jaata hai na toh dard bohot hota hai aur us dard ki koi dawa bhi nahi hai."
"I disagree with my husband. You know Anuj forever can be true only and only if you decide to be loyal for your partner. The marriage can not survives on a single thread of marriage, it need support of love and commitment to strengthen it. The forever exists, all that you need to know how to make it true." Ishita smirked feeling a penetrating gaze of Raman on her and she ignored it royally sipping a fruit wine.
"Raman bhabhi samajhdaar hai yaar. Tu bewkoof hai." (Bhabhi is way too intelligent than you Raman.) Raman's male friends commented laughing on him.
"Hmm hai toh but kaafi baar zaroorat ki jagah yeh samjhdaari kaam nahi aati iski. I mean use karti toh accha hi rehta." (Yes she is but she does not use her intelligence at the places where it's needed.)
Raman had noticed the mean smirk on Ishita's face, her comments and ignorance was fueling him from inside. The love for her was long forgotten and replaced with a hatred for her and not different with Ishita. Her anger overpowered on her sanity alot that she forgot the fact that the night brought a chance for reconciliation for them which they're overlooking. As the time started to pass the alcohol and the party started to blend peoples in its color. Ishita who wasn't alcohol person remain struck on fruit wine and keep sipping it looking at peoples who were swaying along the beats of music. She was pretending to be casual but her eyes weren't stopping from following her husband who was laughing along his male friends along his glass of alcohol. A sweet memory of past hit Ishita when her single glare used to make him keep his glass aside and it many times when he walked back absolutely sober from such parties. And it was something which stole her heart making her like and admire him more. There were many fond memories of such parties when they accompanied each other, enjoyed the eve and returned back happily together. He helped her in stepping out of her comfort zone something which Ishita never dared before her marriage. We all have wings and we all know to fly but only few dare to fly out of their boundaries. With Raman, Ishita became a woman who dared to do the things out of her comfort zone.
Humne tum ko dekhte hi dil diya
(I gave you my heart the moment I saw you)
Tum hi socho tumne humse kya kiya
(Just think of what you have done to me)
But she took years to conclude that she also gave him power to rip off her wings as well. He is a nice man but too manipulative and narcissist as a husband.
"Ishita bhabhi please join us on dance floor." Ishita came out from her trance and looked at Swati who came to invite her for couple dance. "Raman bhiya please." Swati pleaded same to Raman who was walking with someone.
"Ermm no Swati I'm ain't a dance person." Ishita politely refused not in a mood to share memories with Raman anymore.
"But I'm a dance person and I will dance Swati." Ishita crinkled her brows listening a voice from behind. Her tipsy husband took excited steps towards his friend Anuj and dragged him on dance floor followed by giggling Swati. Soon Ishita found Raman dancing with some unknown lady and her anger reached at peak. This time she picked a glass of Shiraz and started to empty it in her system burning in the fire of jealousy. She had bore the pain of betrayal many times but today's his proximity infront of her own eyes was paining her. His hands over that lady waist was bothering her alot that she ended up gulping another glass of Shiraz.
