Hey folks,
I know it's been long since I showed up. I was going through terrible writers block as well as there were so many things happening either as well which made me distant with my writing.
Anyways, here is the next part and I really hope all of you may like it. I will try to plan next part sooner.
Love and regards.
Aarohi. ❤️

YEAR 2016
NEW DELHI
OCTOBER
Raman rolled down the window of his car and peeped out to take a look at the traffic which didn't look closer to open up anytime sooner. He rolled up the window and folded his arms against his chest growing impatient. He immediately flew back to Delhi as soon as he came to know about his daughter's birth, he was regretting to miss the most crucial moment of his life. He was always excited for their baby, looking forward to hold his/her in his arms and when that moment arrived he missed it.
He simply missed it by six weeks.
Raman was so trapped in the quagmire that he forgot to pay attention to his pregnant wife and old parents who might need him. The traffic starts to get clear and his car zoomed towards Akash Ganga Housing Society, towards his parents home which was one street away now. As soon as his car parked outside of the building he ran towards the second floor carrying his bag along, Raman removed his shoes as he entered inside an empty apartment. It was late afternoon that day when he stepped back in his house his eyes ran everywhere to catch a single look of anyone from the family. He washed his hands first before taking a flight of stairs towards their room. He assumed his daughter to be in his room when a faint sound of whimpers fell in his ears and that sound was not coming from his room.
He walked back towards his parents room, as he started to approach his parents room so he could listen to the sound clearly. His breath hitched in the middle when he saw a cradle placed beside his parents bed. Raman felt his throat chocked and his legs paralysed unable to move forward. The room seemed empty and the baby cries intensified, he rushed towards the cradle after a few seconds and gently swayed the cradle but it didn't make any difference. The face of his daughter was partially covered with the mosquito net, he removed the net and for the first time his eyes met with the most beautiful girl of this universe.
The onyx black orbs were looking at him curiously, the cries lessened than before but the baby still whimper. Raman had no experience to hold little babies but on that day he himself lifted his daughter for the first time. He supported her neck cautiously and remained looking at her serene face, she inherited her face cut from her mother and eyes like him. Her button nose and small lips appeared like a cherry toppled upon cotton, her unruly hairs were falling upon her forehead she appeared weak from usual babies otherwise he found her beautiful. He swayed her gently in his arms allowing his tears to trickle down from his eyes, his daughter stopped crying after a few seconds but his eyes refused to leave her sight and arms kept swaying her slowly.
"You're so beautiful." That was a small whisper from Raman, a first thing for his daughter he spoke that afternoon. "I am sorry...." Raman broke into tears looking at his daughter who was looking at him without blinking her eyes for a second. There were no words exchanged after that the father and daughter continued to look at each other. Raman kept her close to his heart, he never felt so surreal and contented than today. The feeling of becoming a father is the most unwritten emotion which cannot be defined in the words it can only be lived and feel. Indeed she is going to be the most precious person in his life from now but he hated the circumstances which led her in their life.
