FEW WEEKS LATER

Ishita started to move her fractured foot left and right as suggested by her physiotherapist, she winced with pain but continued to do exercise following instructions of her instructor whom her Mummy Ji appointed for her. Ishita smiled gratefully looking at Swati who is daughter of her mother in law friend who agreed to treat Ishita personally.

"How's you feeling now Ishita?"

"Better Swati. There is little pain but I'm able to manage my chores." Ishita replied with a faint smile.

"It will heal soon. You actually recovering early and that's a positive sign in itself." Swati exclaimed examining the foot. The plaster had been removed a week back, some ten days early of it's due timing. The proper attention and bedrest indeed worked as magic and Ishita fractured foot almost healed before due time. Ishita asked Neelu to bring two cups of coffee's and she continued to chatted with Swati on every random topic. Once the young doctor left Ishita leaned back on reclining chair placed in balcony of drawing room and started to admire the setting sun. Eversince she moved in with her husband and daughter she started to look foreword for moment away from him, his presence often makes her feel distracted. She wouldn't mind to admit that she wishes to stay away from him as much as she can. She unlocked her mobile phone and sighted after checking the date for another time, it must be three weeks since her husband went to Malaysia and Singapore for business trip and she still didn't know if he landed back to India or not. Ishita folded her hands next to her chest sighting on his annoying habit, it's not first time since he did that. He was always like that. Just flew away mysteriously on the name of business meeting without caring to inform her but this time she was trying to look towards the brighter side of this arrangement. Maybe after sharing that emotional intimate night with him she wasn't ready to face him anymore. They were so vulnerable when he arrived back from party, completely consumed in alcohol. She didn't know why he spoke all those things but his watery eyes, desperate kisses and tender touches bothered her. She almost submitted herself to him that night ignoring the issues which drifted them away. She sighted wondering what made her feel weak infront of him, and maybe like everytime Ishita is still confused with her own feelings. This myriad of emotions were enough to took her life away but she was thankful of nature of his work which made him leave to Chennai next morning itself and later he went to Singapore and then Malaysia for another three weeks for a business tour. It's almost eight weeks since they started to live together and she realised how badly he started to affect her life, and if it continued to stay like same it will became so hard for her to leave him at the end of this arrangement.

A churn of door made Ishita come out from her own world and she found Roohi running inside of apartment followed by worn out Neelu. Ishita smiled gratefully finding Neelu who appeared worn out after chasing Roohi. She scanned little girl intently who appeared fit now and ready to jump in every corner of apartment. She was so thankful of her Mummy Ji who agreed to stay back until Ishita fractured healed and took care of her and Roohi till last week and now Neelu is staying with her until Raman return back. Ishita passed another look to her little daughter who appeared lost in playing with her new gadget she received in gift from her Simmi Bua. Indeed the new electronic gadget worked as great distraction for Roohi who was missing her father dearly. And now apart from playing with Pluto Roohi loves to spend her time with new gadget. Ishita continued to look Roohi who hurriedly gulped her milk in single go and ran inside her room to play with her new electronic gadget.

"Neelu pass me that bundle and you please stay with Roohi only and make sure if she don't open something else." Ishita requested Neelu to keep a watch on Roohi while preparing for dinner. Ishita torn the brown envolope and started to go through the examination papers send by her university for correction. She took out her red pen and started to read the examination papers carefully before beginning to check the answer sheets.
