_____________

— "OBVIOUSLY, MISS PARKINSON'S  death was something that took everyone by surprise but I don't see why they push it all on us! The newspaper shouldn't care less about that. It's none of their business.", Slughorn paced around the large office.

All of the Hogwarts' Professors gathered in there to talk about the school's future and its upcoming events.

"It's none of their business? Are you listening to yourself, Horace? That was someone's child! Someone's friend! A student.", McGonagall stood up from her chair and looked at him.

"You're right, you're right Minerva. I'm sorry.", Slughorn sat back down and took a deep breath, his fingers lightly massaging his forehead.

"You're both right. We all know that since we have Voldemort around, everything has taken a different turn. From the graduation to the slight eventful moments we've had this year.", Dumbledore said slowly, the others nodded.

"Let's be honest, here. Every year at Hogwarts has welcomed different scenarios. First the dragons and now some ice queen!", a Professor huffed and shook her head.

"What are you talking about, Claire?", Snape looked at her, but the woman purposely turned her head away.

"We are all aware of the Princess' presence. And ever since the Queen disappeared, Hogwarts has become a joke! Ice, sudden snow, and deaths!", she exclaimed.

"If you're suggesting to send her to France then you're out of your mind!", Minerva looked at the woman and shot her a glare.

"That would be the best choice for the students and Hogwarts. Now, tell me, Minerva, where is Rose? What's happening to France?"

Minerva looked down at her question, but Dumbledore quickly stepped in.

"We got your point, Claire. France is not the safest country, right now. The Queen disappeared and the kingdom refuses to believe my words."

"I'd personally go, Albus. There's no Queen anymore and the next heir is Ella. Therefore—"

"Therefore nothing, Claire. Queen Rose trusted me with her daughter and as long as I am alive, that girl is under my supervision.", Snape quickly stopped the nosy Professor to continue stating facts.

"What about the Princess?", Minerva murmured.

"This is Hogwarts. Therefore, nobody will be left out.", Dumbledore said, making Hagrid stand up and clap loudly.

The people's heads turned and looked at the man.
"Right, sorry.", he sat back down.

"Explain Pansy Parkinson's death, Albus! I cannot see how Ella was not involved."

"I can't believe it. She's accusing the Princess.", Slughorn muttered under his breath and shook his head in disbelief.

"I don't see why I should explain myself,  Claire. Pansy Parkinson's death and sudden appearance is still a mystery to all of us. Just like everything that's happening today.", Dumbledore concluded and then stood up, an action that let everyone know that he was done.

The Professors started leaving, many let nasty expressions wander in the room, all directed to Hogwarts' recent Professor.

Professor Snape waited for everybody to leave the room and then approached the Headmaster.

"Some Butterbeer, Severus?", Dumbledore grabbed a tall bottle from an old wardrobe in his office.

"Don't you think that she should know? About her mother?", Snape pressed on the subject he had mentioned a while ago.
