Astrea sat in class, her head bowed down as always but this time, she had her earphones plugged in, music blasting very loudly from them. School had not started yet and her homeroom teacher let her have the class to herself until school started. Everything was ready. Her books were with her and she was good to go.
She couldn't stop thinking about what had happend earlier with her parents. Maybe she was thinking too much into it? Or maybe it wasn't what it seemed? Was her dad abusing her mom or was it just all role play?
Astrea wasn't dumb. She read a lot of books to know all about sex and what activities happen during sex. What would she do if her dad was really hitting her mom? She didn't look upset at breakfast.
Her brothers on the other hand seemed grumpy, they even forced her into the car this time.
"I'm in a bad mood so I'm not taking your bullshit today" Antonio had said to her as he dragged her into the car.
The child lock was on so she couldn't even get out this time.
During the car ride, Antonio told Astrea that the whole gala thing was really important and that Lucifer himself would be there. He also told Astrea that she had to be careful today, some people would be comming from Lucifer's company. He said something about it being some school event that was made last minute.
She had asked how he had known this but Antonio just shook his head and said not to worry about it and that she should just listen to him.
So pushy, sheesh. She had rolled her eyes.
Her favorite song suddenly came on and she turned the volume all the way up, not caring if people could hear it.
