So our MC transmigrated into a book as a cannonfodder. He has a System which tells him the plot points and he has to complete them. He basically has to make the protagonists miserable and indirectly cause him to rebirth. In the book, our cannonfodder MC first blackmail the protagonist into a relationship with him then gives him some abuse before giving him away to an evil dude after he got tired of him. While with evil dude, the protagonist gets into a car accident and was reborn. Then he finds his true identity (protagonist was an orphan) and goes back to his rich family and embarked to the peak of life. He has 7 suitors. Read SUITORS cos as far as MC read in the novel, nobody got him yet.

So our MC does his 'job', blackmails the protagonist into being his lover but doesn't touch him (unless required by the plot points). He has to act the part but it comes out as tsundere. Hahaha... During a different car accident, our protagonist ML got reborn for the third time. He has the memory of first life (in a car crash with evil dude) and the second life (went back to his family and became the homeowner). None of which are happy. ML in the 2nd life has his own troubles with his family and his brother even tried to kill him for the position of homeowner. ML is confused cos from his memory in this life. He likes MC and he wasn't as miserable. After observing MC, he finds out that he is different and that he really likes him, but MC doesn't seem to like him back.

Laters, MC finds that ML has changed (rebirth) but he only thought that he rebirth ahead of time. He keeps waiting for ML to break up with him, revenge and embark on the peak of life, but its not happening. They keep their Lovers relationship and ML doesn't agree with breaking up. ML leaves MC to develop but they're still in a relationship (accdg to ML) just long distance. Then ML was found by his family, but now he is wary of them cos he knows his brother's evil plans. Things happen but his bro's plan didn't succeed and caused him to be crippled instead. ML Mom blames ML cos she is still partial to her younger son and their family falls apart. ML is sad, only MC can comfort him. And MC thinks about what would happen if he goes back to his original world, cos ML only has him now, so he chooses to stay. #spoiler ML organs starts failing and System says its cos of his soul which has already rebirth 3x. They tell each other their secrets (ML his rebirth; MC his System) and ML wants him to go home. MC doesn't agree and changes for an item in the System store to give half his life force/vitality to ML. System agrees but in the end, System gave up his life(?) instead cos he wants to protect MC. HE. Extras is System's identity~~ Also MC & ML life after.

I like this!!! MC is constantly guilty cos of his actions to ML. This bit of warmth/guilt caused our ML to fall for him. And in the end, it became ML chasing after MC instead of the other way around. After rebirth, ML is confused what caused his past self to fall for MC. In a way, both MC & ML differentiate between before and after rebirth ML. They both realize later that whether its before or after, its still the same person. If before rebirth ML can fall for MC then after rebirth ML can do so too. MC has to rediscover again and again that although this world is based on a novel, by no means ML and the other people in it are just simply characters who will move accdg to the development in the book. MC even engages in some self-destructive behaviour when he can't figure out his feelings for ML. It starts to get fluffy/lovey-dovey after they finally (both parties agreed) get together before that last plot twist.

Not fluffy but I like their slow romance. Although on some part, it feels like ML is paying more on this relationship but MC is giving up his original world for him~ And was even willing to give up half his life. (although it didnt happen in the end) I guess the System identity in the end was a bit of surprise cos there was no foreshadowing at all??? Lololol. I wish there was some side CPs though~~ The 7 suitors all remained single dogs. XD
