Impressions: When I first read this, my first impression was it was similar to My Wife Always Thought I Didn't Love Him, that is, we have a rebirth gong and a passive shou. My next thought was... this must be the most tragic shou in the history of the universe, does the heavens hate this kid or something??? Anything and everything bad will happen to him. I suppose another thing I didn't like very much was how disgusting all the shou's relatives were, uhhh... hate them, hate them, hate them, and just thinking if all of these happened to him in the previous life, how was he able to stay sane and alive to meet our gong MC? The MC is suppose to rebirth to give him a happy life but all they encounter is one misfortune after another. The MC also adds to it since he decides to be a Holy Father (you could ignore them, you know? You don't actually owe them anything!!!) Uhh... what I like about the novel... hmmm... I guess our shou's possessive/bordering-on-yandere love? lol. And the MCs reaction was cute: Good! That means you really really love me!! After growing up, our shou gains a backbone and have learned to faceslap people. It's just that the MC seems to find trouble after trouble for him by helping shou's relatives. Uhh... why would you do that?? Are you brain-damaged?? In regards to the shou's cousin and mom, you could see what they are in one look! Plus they both have previous SERIOUS offenses!! Uhh.. I think this MC was a bit stupid, also like in MyWife, he didn't make use of his rebirth golden finger that much, MC you are there to prevent things from happening to your wife not add to his problems or be the indirect source of his problems. Related to being a Holy Father, I may be evil but I feel like our MC is really soft! This is why I like our shou's reaction of cutting off all relations, anyway, it wasn't there to begin with so it's not like he'll be losing anything. I guess I didn't like the part where the MC is making them reconcile near the end, this is shou's business, he should have the say on it and I agree on not reconciling with this user-relatives. Did I like it? Like all novels, it has its cute and funny moments, but for me, it has more drama and unfortunate events than happy episodes (at least on my impression, I remember the sad things more than the fluff, and I usually pay attention to fluff!!! But really just too few QAQ) Towards the end, I was just glad it was over, I was already tempted to drop it early on but I persevered since it was only 87 chapters, but definitely will NOT be on my reread list. 2.5 out of 5.
