Impressions so far: It's a zombie apocalypse and I was looking for more sci-fi novels since I liked Laws of the Other World so I decided to give it a try. It's a typical rebirth apocalypse novel where the MC goes back to before the apocalypse broke out. There are zombies, mutant animals and plants and then there's the new addition of vampires and werewolves. It was interesting at first, MC meets the domineering ML (ML is a vampire/blood race btw) who is the leader of the 'Alliance' who saved him in the past. Only now, he is still a timid teenager, and because MC saved him, he's like a little wolf dog who sticks to the MC. MC meets some people he knew in the past and 'warns' them, this is good and all until it happens over and over again. He meets 3 guys and remembers that they used to be experimental bodies and helps them. He meets a little genius kid and helps him (I'm actually okay with this :P) He meets a twin brother & sister and remembers that they are good people in the past (would give their food to other hungry kids) and helps them. Meets 20 people trapped in the building and again helps them. I was like, wth?! This MC is too much of a good person ah? The guy who was trapped in the bathroom was also an acquaintance (in the past, MC killed him cos he was being tortured by werewolves) so he also helps him. I guess I was just getting tired of it a bit. Would look for something fluffy and lighter for a change of pace~ I might get back to this when I'm back in the mood. I hope this is like KHR where the starting arc is filled with character introductions and after this, we get to the action~~ Marking this as on-hold for now~~
