Impressions: Another one from Lada's BL MTL reco, I was already familiar with PUBG cos of Hamster Wants to Eat Chicken and I like online gaming so decided to try this. This is not a feel-good novel though, our MC is a game anchor as a job so he encounters black fans/enemy anchors etc. from time to time., but he's very calm and level-headed so he doesn't let it affect him.

Summary: our MC is a newly signed game anchor in a company. He broadcasts PUBG on his channel. ML is the President of the company where MC's platform is. MC had an impression of him cos he was his very first viewer. (ML randomly entered his broadcast room and then stayed) So ML regularly listens to MC's broadcast (also VERY generous). One day, he was curious enough to play the game with MC and he SPOKE ON THE MIC. And our VOICE-CON MC of course, swoons for him. Lol. Laters, they get more talking to each other. MC encounters things like sunspots/cheaters in the game/rival anchors etc and ML helps him behind the scenes cos he didn't want this shady things happening in his company. They accidentally meet in real life and ML finds out that MC likes him (MC likes his voice) so he tries to distance himself but HE CAN'T. Lololol. Some misunderstandings/jealousy etc, MC's sad past was also revealed. In the end, the two of them get together. There were many misunderstandings, but they're kinda short-lived and will be often used by author-sama as a turning point in the story. Ending is MC & ML vaguely announcing their relationship in MC's broadcast room and ML's Weibo.

Extras is MC's buddy and his "online girlfriend" which turns out not to be a girlfriend but a boyfriend instead. XD He's the leader of an idol group. Kinda pitiful but also a bit manipulative. MC's buddy is a sunshiny straight man who eventually bent cos he can't move on from idol boyfriend. Their story has more drama than MC & ML.

I like our MC, he has the sad past but he never used that to be pitiful. He's very calm/mature but he has a bottomline. He can be hot-headed/impulsive too for the things that really matters to him (like ML ♥) I also like that both MC & ML has insecurities, like MC worries that ML is only with him cos of pity while ML has  a sense of crisis that MC only fell for him for his voice. Lol. Then they both vow to make the other fall for them for real. ML is not just a rich/powerful President either, he has surprisingly real problems (nope, not dogblood) like not being close with his parents/unable to communicate with them or having very few real friendships (That Mo Nancheng guy was too much, okay?) . I feel bad for him as well. But MC & ML are there for each other~~~

This isn't as sweet and fluffy as Hamster Wants to Eat Chicken but for me, it's really nice cos I like MC & ML's characters which are not so 2D/simple. It reminds me a bit of How to Say I Love You. Anyway, read this for fluffy gaming novel~~ Big Boss x Little Anchor ^_^
