This is a feel-good novel. No drama. Although there are some black fans, but MC's teammates keep him away from the negativity to protect him so the readers are also well protected. Author-sama is changing the synopsis cos the direction didn't quite go as planned, just decided to use the old synopsis for now.

So our MC is a new hamster spirit, he was taken care of by an old History Professor who lost her grandson. Old Professor dies and MC inherits her property. Old Professor knows MC's identity and prepared his human documents. MC now wants to find Grandma's lost grandson as thanks, but MC has no money!!! After asking some netizens, how can a citizen with no diploma and only talent is selling meng can earn money. He was pointed to being a game anchor.

MC opens the game. It's not fantasy (has knight/mage/summoner etc) but more military (think Gun Gale Online) It can be played solo, doubles or team. Anyway, the goal of the game is to be the last one to survive. Players are scattered in the map then the 'safe' zone/circle shrinks little by little and players are forced to fight each other. Guns/resources are scattered all over the map, players can look for them. The winner is the one who will 'eat chicken' (the title). Our MC is a newbie, accidentally paired with veteran ML. Then they become friends and team up with other people they met in the game. Join the competition, win the Asia Cup then the World Cup. The End. Lol.

IRL, MC & ML are neighbors!! And MC's actions on game and in real life has already betrayed his identity to ML XD ML cooks the hamster in warm water, spoiling him in-game and in reality. Anyway, some things happen, they get together and #spoiler ML turns out to be the lost grandson!! The End again. Lol.

Overall, this is very sweet, our MC is very meng/pure/naive/innocent. ML is a beast! Lol (Everyone thinks so) MC is sweet all throughout, he only grew up on the last chapter according to ML narration. Loooots of side CPs, this is a very gay survival game XD XD XD There is more interaction in online gaming than IRL. Almost everyone MC meets is good person~~ I love the dynamics of MC's team and their interaction with other teams/players. NO DRAMA. I like how everything is wrapped up neatly, and the endings of the various side CP are also confirmed.
