Synopsis:

Su Xiaoying saw Su Mu and a certain president's intimate photos. So he called the president father.

Su Mu was scared that his heart and liver trembled, and he quickly hugged his son.

Su Mu: "Don't call him dad."

The president pinched his little face. "If you don't let him call me, then you call me."

In the evening, Su Mu called the president Dad more than a 100 times. His tired lips quivering...

The president asked after the incident: "Tell me, when did you steal me a son?"

Su Mu shrinks his neck. "I didn't. I gave birth to it."

President: "I don't remember having anyone else but you."

Su Mu instantly sheds tears: "Dad, we are all your good sons."

Impressions: Was looking for fluffy modern novels so chose this, conclusion: wrong choice.  Gaahh... I don't know how to make this NOT sound like a rant. 5 years ago, ML is a poor exchange student and MC is a rich second generation, he pursues ML and in the end, became his golden master (they get together and MC pays him every month). MC becomes pregnant, hears that ML is talking to someone on the phone about going abroad then he packs up and disappears from ML's life. 5 years later, they meet again at a class reunion.

MC is too insecure, he goes to see ML and when ML doesn't notice him, he sulks (I know he doesn't love me blah blah) and when ML notices him, he's scared. To be fair, ML was kinda scummy when they were together so MC thought that he was 'forced' all along. ML is too overbearing, bordering on rapey. (There was actually that one scene on the car). He finds MC again and rolls the sheets with him, thinking they're going to be together then MC runs aways again. He asks his minions to investigate MC's friend (which is too stupid, you have the ability, why not investigate MC directly!!), he forces MC to work/paint for him and MC meets more abuse on his office from side characters to deepen their misunderstanding. Because he doesn't say anything, ML doesn't know. ML also doesn't take the initiative to explain anything to MC either. MC and ML gets together but MC still hides his son from ML cos he's scared that ML will take him (My question is, ML is pursuing you, not knowing that he has a son. Why think of the worst scenario that he would take him???) MC's son gets kidnapped by MC's relatives and the condition is ML has to invest in the company. MC goes to ML and promises himself to ML (kind of like he's 'selling' himself ) and ML pushes him until he says the truth that his son was kidnapped. Anyway, the kid is rescued with the help of the side CP's gong and ML finds MC's phone, look at the pictures and finds out all the hardships that MC went through and cry cry cry and regrets it. The little bun is a bear child in front of ML; MC finds a side character of his own to abuse ML. (All these mother-in-law side characters) and ML convinces him that he really loves MC. This ends at Chapter 65. Onwards are the side CPs story so I stopped reading here (Finally!) cos I think I wouldn't like it.

MC and the side CP shou are cut off the same cloth, always thinking of escaping from their gong with the little buns. Another thing I didn't like about MC was that he was thinking of getting a certificate with a national spare tire (supporting male lead) just so he could get away from ML. Wth!? You don't like him (and already dumped him), why use him as a legal shield??? (I have special sympathies for supporting male leads y'know). Overall, it has its cute parts (ML and little bun bickering over MC), sweet parts (when ML and MC are on the same page) but the misundestandings overwhelmed it for me, (talk to each other for chrissakes. Is it so fun to have misunderstandings at every turn? Are the both of you guys actually M?). It was sometimes just too... too frustrating. I think the side CP stories would even be more complicated/frustrating so I decided to get out while I can. Lol.
