Impressions: This is soooo cute!!! This was on my TBR list to MTL, just found out that someone already started translating it~~

So our MC is rebirth. MC's original life: His sister married a scum man, his father took home his illegimate son and mistress. MC Dad colluded with government officials to kick MC and his mom out of their door. MC sister was divorced by the scum man. MC and family became poor. MC Mom died. MC sister died. MC was so poor, he couldn't even afford to buy a coffin for them :(((( He just wrapped the body on a straw mat and buried them in an unmarked grave. :(((( Then he died and rebirth on his sister's wedding day.

Rather than revenge, MC's goal is to avoid the tragedy of their last life. He hired some thugs to drug the groom and throw him into the brothel to destroy his reputation so his sister won't marry him (Scum man is a regular in the brothel anyways). During the wedding procession, MC was kidnapped by bandits and taken up the mountains.

ML is the bandit head. MC tells the bandits that the scum man family won't ransom him, ML says that he wants MC to stay as a guest for a few days then he'll personally send him down. MC is delicate(?), he gets bruised easily and wounds are always more serious when it comes to him. He also has a low pain tolerance, his eyes would automatically redden/cry when he gets hurt. Lol. ML thinks he's a cute rabbit. While waiting in the mountain, MC discovers his golden finger!!! He can talk to plants!!! MC asked some plants how to escape. While escaping, he got so many wounds and bruises and when ML found him, he fiercely fought back! (Although it was ineffective. Lol) ML realized that he really scared MC. ML is actually an undercover general, he posed as a bandit head to investigate some illegal gold mining in their town. He sends MC down and show his token(?) to MC Mom so Mom knows he'd actually an official and allowed him to stay.

During this whole kidnapping thing, MC Mom realized that his husband doesn't really care for their children. He didn't want to rescue MC, he still wants MC sister to marry the scum man. MC takes the chance to tell MC Mom that their Dad has a wife and son outside. MC Dad follows the old path, bribing officials to seize their family property. MC Dad married INTO MC Mom's family. He was just a poor scholar before he married MC Mom. Just in time, ML broke the illegal mining case and the corrupt officials that was colluding with MC Dad were all arrested. MC Dad was also arrested for bribery.

Avoided the scum man, and didn't let MC Dad succeed on his plan, MC is already happy. He takes over the family business as the only male in the family. ML helps him learn and lends some people to him but MC still personally deals with it, he also studies for the imperial exam to help his Mom vent. If illegitimate son can do it, then he can do it too!!! Our MC is really really hardworking!!!! It's ML that's idle most of the time. Lol.

Then MC remembers the future drought, the war situation etc. so he starts preparing for it. Some things changed and ML got called back to the Capital and MC finds out that he isn't a bandit head at all. ML is worried that MC is angry and confessed the truth when he gets back. ML is a general, he is the famous God of War and he's also royalty, the emperor is his brother. ML also got their permission to marry MC. MC also tells ML about his rebirth, laters, while they were 'exercising', MC heard the plants discussing them and tells ML about his golden finger too. XD

ML tells the emperor about the drought so he can prepare early. MC and family moves to the Capital and both the Emperor and Empress Dowager likes MC. Laters, he talked to an old tree in the palace who mistook him for his ancestor. MC opens their family's secret warehouse (their family is SUPER RICH!!!) and reads their ancestors diary. Their family ancestor became lovers with a flower demon. Laters, flower demon gave birth to a son. Flower demon put his core into the lifelock given to the males of the family (it was passed down to MC of course) After rebirth, MC awakened his ancestor's core that's why he can talk to plants. ML accepts all of this calmly but doesn't want MC to use this power too much.

Laters, there was war and drought. ML helped with the fighting. MC donated money and food. Then when ML went missing in the mountain, he promised the emperor that he can find him. MC used his powers to talk to trees and reunites with ML. ML fights. ML wins. They go back to the capital to get married. Then they adopted two little buns~~

Extras is life with the little buns. (One followed MC surname, then the other followed ML surname). Then the other is MC getting 'pregnant', not mpreg, a flower sprouted on MC's head then bore fruit (Like with MC flower demon ancestor) then the fruit became a baby daughter~~ The End.

I love it!!! After MC gets rid of his scum Dad, he stopped caring about him and just focused on living a good life with his family~~ I really admire MC Mom. She didn't object to MC and ML, just worried about ML's family objections. Laters, the Empress Dowager mentioned that ML is basically ending their family bloodline cos MC was the last son. Really kudos to MC Mom. Both the Empress Dowager and Emperor also liked MC. They originally thought that MC must be some kind of fox that bewitched ML cos ML was so eager to get married, but when they met him, they saw that ML was ten years older than him (MC is 17) and worried that ML forced MC to be with him. Lol. XD XD XD MC also didn't try to do the impossible with his golden finger like making the plants grow faster in the whole country. Instead, he found a more practical way~~ Although ML is royalty and a ready made golden thigh, MC was never dependent on him, but they were supporting each other ^_^ Anyway~~ This is one of my fave ancient times novel along with Transmigration: Countryside Scenery.
