Synopsis:

Xiao Lou was killed in an accident and reborn in the Card World.

Each card here represents a secret room and clearing the instance will give a reward. Xiao Lou draws a card and thinks he could draw all types of equipment and weapons. As a result: Su Shi, Li Bai, Tao Yuanming... character cards keep coming one after another.

Impressions: This is sooo awesome!! I love it! One of my fave BL so far ^_^ I was reading this waay back along with Supernatural Movie Actor App, and bingread it up to the 2nd to the last arc. (It wa still ongoing at the time). 

So our MC is a forensic doctor who got into an accident in real life. He goes to a Card World where you have to constantly go through 'card rooms' in order to survive and return to the real world. There are different types of card room depending on the suit. Hearts is mystery solving (who is the killer?). Diamonds are puzzles, word/number problems or maze. Spades is survival games (in a town with zombies or zergs etc) and Clubs is gambling/card games. Our MC is very OP and because of his profession, he's strong on hearts and diamonds. Okay with Clubs but slag in Spades XD. Now our ML is a policeman that MC knows in real life cos they worked together on some cases. He also got in an accident and came to the Card world. He's good at Hearts and Spade but a complete slag on Diamonds XD He and MC meet in the room of Clubs and recognize each other and laters they form a contract and became partners.

Next is finding other team members and going through each card room: 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 of Hearts, Diamonds, Spades, Clubs, 4 rooms of each suit for each number. You won't get bored cos each room is different so it keeps things fresh. MC and his team usually finish Diamonds and Clubs quickly so the Hearts and Spades room have the longer arcs.

For the romance, it is veeerrryy slow. MC knows he's gay but he first treat ML as a friend/comrade. Laters, he realized that he has become more dependent on him and starts being more conscious of him as man ^_^ ML is dense and a steel straight man, he doesn't notice that MC is special to him until they went to a card room where their role/setting is husband-and-wife, and he really enjoyed it ^_^ He thought it would be good if they can really be together like this. Both MC and ML are slow on the romance department so they test the waters again and again. Holding hands or asking if you don't mind homosexuality UwU Both of them is worried that it will affect the team if they confess so no movement at first. Laters, they confirmed their feelings for each other but they're busy trying to survive so they only officially got together in the Extras.

Arc Summary:

Novice Secret Rooms (Chapter 1-18) - MC & ML first going through 2 of Hearts (a murder case), Diamonds, Spade (Zombie Town) room alone then they recognize each other in the Clubs room and formed a team.

Two People Breaking Through (Chapters 19-67) - MC & ML team up. For the Heart's room, its a campus murder case and for the Spade Room, it's surviving in a Financial Crisis world. They meet two of their teammates here. (A music student and a President of an investment company). They find out about the 'Hunters', whose goal is to kill 'challengers' like them.

Speed Train (Chapter 68-94) - For the Hearts room, there are two murder cases (a playboy and a rich old man) on the train and they have to solve it before they reach their destination. Then an extremely quick Diamonds room (2 chapters. Lol)
