Cut scene 1:

White Lotus: "Very good. Daily verbal warfares allowing me to enhance my reputation, exercise my typing speed and even improve my psychological endurance."
Roommate: "Shock! So good?"
White Lotus: "...just that there's the occasional ambush while clearing a dungeon, getting ambushed while at the recreational area, getting ambushed while buying medicine in town..."

Cut scene 2:

One day, the great god came to him.
Gread God: "You are the renyao White Lotus?"
White Lotus: "I am not a renyao!!!!!"
Great God: "Let me do you." (跟我搞基吧 – ??)
White Lotus: "Do your big uncle!!!"

Cut scene 3:

Reporter: "White Lotus student, what are your thoughts around the hot forum topic for the past two weeks about you?
White Lotus: "I think..."
The Great God interrupted: "Lotus sister, if you don't want to be mistaken for being gay, you should change your habit of selling Meng..."
White Lotus: "Lotus your sister!"
The Great God gave him a deep look: "Yes, Lotus my sister."

Impressions: I am starting to have psychological shadow against comedy online gaming. Same with The Antelope and The Night Wolf, this one also unexpectedly has a knife!

So everything started out hilarious, where our MC is inexplicably flamed in the game he was playing, followed by a series of bizzarre developments where he was taken in as a disciple of Great God/ML (in the game). More happenings in the game and in real life. MC also meets ML in real life who became his junior in the university. ML confessed to MC but they continued their normal interactions in the game. IRL, ML also confessed and after a long long time of indecision, MC accepts. However, just a few days in of being lovers, they broke up cos MC's parents opposed. ML also transferred school and went abroad. MC continued his life.. Laters, he can still see ML in the game online and they went back to how they were before. MC thinks this is good, their unsure love would turn into true friendship until ML's city was suddenly hit by an earthquake. MC hurriedly went abroad to lool for him. The End.

It might be open-ended, but the Extras showed that MC & ML happily got together and showed their life as the years went on. Other extras is a side character's story and the truth that the lover whom he thought had abandoned him actually died from depression.

Like: I like the hilarious scenes when they're online. The way they interact with other party members was really funny and Great God even had to use two accounts just so he can get close to MC which is cute.

Hate: I guess I don't like some of the characters. Our MC is very indecisive, not sure if he's bent for ML or not. It's cute at first, but then I feel like he's in self-denial while still ripping off benefits from ML. The way he just wants for things to stay as they are before they get together and also, after they broke up, made me feel like he was just stringing ML along. Also, the fact that they broke up right away just after getting opposed. :/

Then there's also the side character who was 'abandoned', but in the extras, it was shown that he was just coward that ended up hurting everyone: himself, his wife, his dead ex-boyfriend. This makes me wanna read QT novels where cannonfodders retaliates against slag men like this. Lol.

Anyway, I took down my previous review that only mentioned comedy and made sure to warn others about the knife in the back. Consider yourself warned~~
