So our MC rebirths back to 10 years before the apocalypse. MC is an ordinary person who doesn't want to hug any golden thighs so he decides to prepare for the apocalypse in his own way: indoor farming.
MC moves to a different city and secures the highest floor (for the sunlight) in an apartment which he knew would be part of the Base. Then he starts preparing seeds, livestock (quails), mushroom wood, water distiller , solar panels etc. then starts making bacon, pickles etc. for more preparation to be a shut-in during the apocalypse XD
ML awakens his ability and gets targeted by their group, he escapes in MC's apartment, and MC after weighing the pros and cons decides to save him since its useful to have a connection to an ability user. Laters, they live together while ML recuperates and ML enjoys the feeling of having a "home", when he becomes so worried for MC, he realize that he wants this life with MC where they're just living together, growing vegetables, taking care of pets etc. So he starts the beauty trap and succeeded in eating MC XD
MC & ML lives on the highest floor with some neighbors. Four IT students and one violent wind ability user who's also a doctor. They team up and goes out to hunt zombies outside once a month. Laters, the girls living on the1 15th floor (below them) joins their team. They try to avoid base politics but ML Dad is a politician and he wants to pull ML into it. ML is also a rare metal ability user so the Base also wants to get him.
Then dunno what kind of butterfly effect MC did, but there are many things different from his previous life. Mainly, the difference in treatment between ability users and ordinary people are more harsh etc. Laters, they found out that the Base wants to militarized everything. No more private property, subject to orders of the higher up etc. so MC and his team decides to leave the Base. They find an experimental base before the apocalypse with complete facilities for growing crops etc. and they decide to move there. They just go to the Base from time to time to sell their goods. Fast forward and everyone is living happily~ There are many stragglers (people who don't live in the Base) who sometimes gets together and open a bazaar etc. MC and everyone in his team form their own CP. HE. ^_^
This is one of my fave BL apocalypse cos I like the easygoing farming life~~ And its different from others where MC has space or clings to a golden thigh. Anyway, most MCs in apocalypse novels have their own ability/powers etc. I like that there are no base politics either (MC & ML actively avoids it) and frankly, the otaku life just appeals to me. HAHAHA... This is probably my chosen life during the apocalypse~~~ :3
