In the previous life he neglected his shou, but cos shou blocked a knife for him, (and because the 'true faces' of the women in the harem were exposed), he regrets not loving him more. I didn't like our MC at first, I felt like he was very scummy. He forcefully took shou, added him to his harem and then later neglected him. After shou died, MC starts to look into his life and realized that shou was very hardworking and honest and slowly fell for him. (Guilt and beautification of memories probably played a part on that too) Then our gong MC rebirths and swears to be good to shou. After getting back, he cleans up the most poisonous woman in his harem and then help his emperor father (he's still just a Crown Prince) better their country. He was so excited to wait for shou to come into the palace so they could meet again. (shou enters the palace as a servant btw) Laters, he is practically stalking shou XD Some conspiracies, and he made shou part of his harem again. Then, endless doting and spoiling shou.

Although there is no drama between MC and shou (MC becomes loyal to his ML. And ML chooses to believe in MC.), there are a lot of palace intrigues that MC protects shou from. It all comes from the MC's harem. (This is because of the too big  difference in treatment causing the others in the harem to resent/envy shou. Also didn't like that MC neglected his children from the other harem members.). The good thing was, there's no bullying from the royal family! MC is too reliable that they all believe him and doesn't question his actions ^^; Shou's family also treasures him a lot. Overall, this is a sweet text of a loyal husband pampering his wife.
