Impressions: As per the synopsis, its the typical rebirth story where our MC didn't cherish the person who was the most loyal to him in the past and betrayed him instead. It was only when he got the taste of his own medicine that he regretted it. When he rebirth, he promised to be good to this person to repay what he did in the last life. Well just on the very start, I already didn't like our MC or past MC rather, I think he was a very despicable person, especially when he found out that our shou has feelings for him and then he 'used' him. That was really really low of him. I even kinda hoped that shou won't fall for him again in this life (or at least right away) to punish our MC a little bit. After rebirth, our MC treated our shou very well regarding him as a treasure. Although a little cliche, he's already faceslapping people and showing shou's importance to him. He's also meeting a lot of characters who had unfortunate ends in the last life and thinking of ways to help them/change their fate. I like our MC's character a bit now, it's a bit funny the way he tries to act cool and fool everyone. Our shou is also not an innocent white lotus, but also clever and has a poisonous mouth. I just wonder why he was so hang up with our MC in the past life when he was never good to him...??? Really makes one curious. I kinda want to MTL but its 774 chapters. Hmmm.... Will think about it.
