Impressions: Adding this to my favorite ancient times novels along with Transmigration: Countryside Scenery and You Can't Be Fierce Towards Me QAQ. I love ancient times poor to rich novels but getting tired of food porn so I quite like this. Our MC is very ambitious!!

So our MC is a special soldier, died and got reborn as the eldest son of a farmer. This eldest son is abused all year round by all his family members, being worked like a horse and treated like a slave :(( Eldest son almost drowned but our ger shou saved him, but laters he still died from starving to death then our MC came over.

Of course, our MC is no pushover so he quickly 'fights back', mostly just not allowing the other family members bully him and refusing to work since he's still weak. Family members of course, are not used to working cos they are used to Eldest son free labor and now, they're cursing MC everywhere but MC threatens them with violence. MC also starts flirting with our shou~~ Hohoho~ cos shou is really his type.

Now, the title: our shou is an 'ugly' ger cos he's very manly and looks like a man not like a soft shou/pretty man which is the ideal ger. He is also as strong as a man. So our shou feels a bit inferior but MC shows him his sincerity with actions, even marrying INTO their family as a son-in-law. (MC/shou kids will have shou's surname). MC breaks it off with the original's family and becomes a businessman, first just through trading on seaside but laters, he sell some modern ideas like card games, distilled alcohol etc. He also trains the thugs in the village to be his men/employees. Anyways, our MC becomes richer and richer and he and shou family life becomes happier and happier. There are some faceslapping~~ Mostly figuratively, sometimes literally XD XD XD Anyway, there are some timeskip but their family has become very rich. More things happen. #spoiler MC caught Royalty/official's eyes cos he's developing too quickly and want to kill him. MC is ready and escapes with his family and his men to another country. They settle there and claim the lands and founded a state/country. Laters, he made shou the Emperor and he's the Prime Minister ^_^ Their government is styled like in modern times. Their original country falls into war and laters, they even asked MC for help and regrets their actions before (Hmph!).

Extras are of course, MC/shou family life as Emperor/PM in their country. Then also the lives of their future generations. My favorite is the original Eldest son Extra, he was born as MC's descendants and he heard about MC's life as him and idolizes MC. The last 2 extra is shou being reborn in modern life. He uses MC knowledge to become rich in 2000s while looking for MC. Laters, he found MC, instead of dying, MC just went into coma and when he wakes up, he has the memories from ancient times and recognizes shou. They also get married in modern life.

I like this cos our MC is really too bully! Lol. His village can't deal with him cos they think he's a madman XD Also shou, although he feels inferior at first but he steadily tries to improve himself. I like their equal relationship. The two of them work side by side. And laters, shou even became the one dealing with paperwork and MC was reduced to brawn XD I like the no drama, which is mostly because of MC's loyalty to shou and his actions. Shou tends to overthink so MC's decisive actions always reassure him and prevent the misunderstandings between them~~
