"Checking out your own fiance is certainly not a good thing." And his single comment made her eyes drop down, she bit her lower lip and joined Simmi who was walking few steps ahead then them. She took Simmi in Botanical Sciences department where workshop going to held and stayed with her until the workshop started. Raman Ishita together bid her adieu and came out from department maintaining a respectable distance.

"So are your working hours over?" Raman asked while strolling in campus.

"Actually I didn't had classes today so I'm kinda free. I came to do my own work." Ishita informed sitting opposite to him, enjoying the sweet morning rays of Delhi. "Anyway would you like to meet my professor and guide?" She asked nervously shifting her eyes from her nails to her lap.

"If you want then...." she smiled cheekily and took them to staff room where her most of professors were seated. The nervous Ishita never knew if her MBA fiance keeps such keen interest in other subjects as well, he was a soft spoken man, a sensible man, an avid reader as well, she loved knowing that he keeps interest in her academic progress. Everything in him was striking, something enough to break the walls she build within her all these years, conflicting enough.

"Your professor told me it will take almost four years for completion of your PhD. Is it?" Raman asked once they came out from building of department.

"Yes there is a long way to go." Ishita sighted matching his steps.

"I think you should start preparing for departmental exams from now only. I did research for your post they said even PhD pursuing candidates can apply for same."

"Yes but the days are quite hectic and the preprations needs extra time." Ishita shurgged her shoulder lazily walking towards parking area.

"That's waste. There is no sense of wasting time Ishita. You have just started and now you have four years, imagine how good it will be if you receive degree and join your work. That's will be thrilling." A smile formed on Ishita lips continue to listen him keenly, Ishita is a woman of flaws and doubts, never in her life she took someone help or advice, throughout her life she was her own guide and mentor, the single mother and sole breadwinner Madhvi Iyyer certainly never had time to pay attention on her both the girls and hence Vandita and Ishita were only two for each other.

"Yes sure. Anyways how's your work going?" Ishita asked softly as there car started to zoom on roads of Delhi.

"Hectic, if I have to define in one word." Raman replied with sarcasm filled voice making Ishita chuckle.

"But it's a way towards your dream." Ishita replied in hopeful voice glancing towards him.

"Yes, and that's only thing which keeps me inspiring to work harder. Anyway I have something to inform you."

"What?"

"Next week, I am leaving for France for the three months."

"That's really nice Raman but you just returned back right?"

"I know it's going to be like this only Ishita."

"It's really okay Raman. That's a way towards your success."

"Thanks but it's going to be like this only Ishita, just like that."

There eyes locked briefly on red light, communicating the assurance and promises they did with each other. "There is party of my friend marriage anniversary tomorrow, our entire batch is going to come there and they wished to meet you. Would you like to accompany me tomorrow?" He asked nervously as there car halted near Ishita apartment building. There was no surprise when Ishita accepted his offer and promised him to accompany him next evening.
