"So do I. Because of some personal experiences I stopped believing on love and marriage. As I said I do not belive on it but it's suppose to do anyway. I'm a career oriented woman, I lived my life on my own terms without anyone interference and now one man will come and expect me to work according to him, listen and obey his words. I'm not a weak woman and I cannot let someone be my knight in shining armor. I cannot give anything to a partner except my loyalty and efforts."

No wonder Ishita is a strong headed woman with full of determination and dreams for her career. A lady who have wings and all she need encouragement to fly, a kind of woman he appreciate always, a kind of woman Raman Bhalla wished to have in his life, as his lady.

"We are quite similar aren't we?"

"Yes and that's pretty strange."

"Then why don't we try to make this arrangement work? I'm a total workaholic and you be a study spree."

"You do not need a woman who can cook for you, iron your clothes, give you tiffin, wait for you on lunches and dinner and listen all your rants, get ready for sex whenever you want?"

"Nope. I don't. I often have to go on tours due to my work profile, I do not spend more than ten days in Delhi so there is no point of me to expect such things from you. Isn't it?"

"And my studies?

"I would love to see you completing your PhD and becoming professor. Trust me. I'm ready to support you as much as you want."

"So you do not want a typical wife?"

"I just want a wife who can listen my problem if I have. An educated woman beside a man is no less than a wonderful companion and a sensible advisor. And as far as sex is concerned I think it happens between two peoples with there will, right?"

The meeting left something in them, they spend the evening together and after seven days there families performed roka and fixed the marriage, the name of marriage was enough to make two humans giddy who never believed on concept of marriage and love but few things are meant to be and maybe they were too....

***************

"Hey Ishita?"

"Raman? Hi. All well?"

"Oh yes, tum university aayi ho kya aaj?"
(Are you in university right now?)

"Haan kyon kya hua?"
(Yes. What happened?)

"Actually main bhi tumhari university hi aaya hua hoon actually Simmi ko drop karne aaya tha uski kuch workshop hai yahan so we thought to meet you."
(Actually I'm in your university campus only. I just came here to drop Simmi for some workshop. Can we meet?)

"Oh wow. Main five minutes mein aayi."
(Yes yes. I will be there in five minutes.)

It's been several weeks after roka happened and the newfound feeling of going to be married was making Raman excited and nervous at same time. Just after his roka he went to China for three weeks, the workload and commitments for work never allowed them to spend much time but they grew attraction towards each other. The undeniable attraction never let him keep her away from his thoughts.

Indeed the girl had something within her.

He removed his shades finding cheerful Ishita coming towards them carrying her bag in one hand and folders in another, clad in red and black classic cotton chudidaar kurta she looked ethereal. A smile appeared on his thin lips when she greeted Simmi merrily and escorted them towards canteen. Throughout the entire time when Ishita was walking along Raman she realised she couldn't keep her eyes from him, she met him after so many weeks and the thought made her excited and nervous. The surprising and teasing looks receiving from her fellow batch mates and teachers were enough to make her nervous and shy. She never let herself involved with any male, except her Bala Jeeju she never found any male trustworthy and respectable but now a dashing punjabi had entered in her life to change her life completely. She sighted glancing at her fiance who looked extremely charming in white polo t-shirt, navy blue denims paired with black leather jacket.
