The letter

Jorge POV:

I decided to open the letter. I ripped open the top of the envelope and pulled out the small pink sheet. I unfolded it and read the note.

Hey Jorge,

I was probably too nervous to say this to you so I'm gonna give you this note. I'm excited to go on a date with you to the fair. I've been planning it all week I honestly am so excited.
I know we've done... things. But this will be different this will be romantic. Unless you know you don't want it to be. I was honest that day when I told you I liked you Jorge and it will stay that way. You are so kind and sweet and adorable and smart, Addy and Syd used to tell me things about you that would make me laugh and remind me of how cute you are. Avani and Milo always talk about you they probably think you're awesome too ♡
Anyway I'm off track. I just wanted to say that I really like you Jorge. I know you declined me the first time but I'm hoping we can become something amazing.

I stared at the note a little longer after reading it. Love Noen? Noen likes me still? I gripped the note tighter. After what he did he thinks I'd just go on a date with him. After he exposed me to...   I crumbled the note throwing it into the trash.

Fuck. Off.
