EPISODE 9 ~ THE GRIND

"Lisa!!!" I shouted out. "How a nigga gonna focus at school with an empty stomach." I Said out loud.

"It's not like you focus anyway." The scary voice of my big brother , Nipsey startled me. I turned around & found him chilling on the door way with a grim look on his face.

" I see you decided to get a clean shave." I commented on his face. His face was smooth as butter.

"Get your ass to school , boy. Before I bust your nuts with one kick."

"But I'm hungry."

"So? What's stopping you from grinding?" He asked me with that serious look of his

"Uhm... uh..uhm" I stuttered

"Nothing , while we do the work & sweat for the sake of this family , you just sit around and smoke weed with that stupid High school drop out friend of yours."

"That ain't true!"

"It's fucking true you idiot! . you're just a spoilt pussy You don't know anything about grinding , chump! You don't even pay attention in class cause if you were , you wouldn't be getting the pathetic grades you getting right now!" He told me off with aggression

"Hey! At least I didn't drop out unlike you!" I shouted back with mad fire. He walked up to me & grabbed me by the shirt

"I got expelled nigga! , but I didn't sit around all day. I made sure that I do something with my life unlike your useless pussy ass!"

Out of anger Shane quickly punched his brother  in the face & it turned into a brawl. Nipsey punched Shane back harder and grabbed him by the neck as he pushed Shane against the closed fridge. Nipsey wanted to choke the life out of Shane but luckily Lisa was there to break it up.

"Enough you two!" Lisa Said as she pushed Nipsey away from Shane. "Nipsey , what the hell has gotten into you!"

"That boy ain't got no respect!" Nipsey said pointing at me.

"You're the one who started this shit!"

"ENOUGH!" Lisa shouted at the top of her lungs. "Why did I tell you about swearing in this house." She said glaring at me

"But y'all do it everyti-

"Go to school, Shane now!"

"Yes ma'am." I Said and I quickly left the kitchen using the other exit. Nipsey couldn't take his evil eyes off a nigga.

Hussle

Lisa & I were all alone in the kitchen now. She heard the front door closing & started to talk.

"Are you trying to tear this family apart?" She asked Sternly

"That Kid Is out of control . It's time I put his ass in check!" I stated clearly

"The more you fight with him , the more he's gonna rebel & do bad things. I just read about Benny's liquor store being robbed... by teenagers. Do you really want Shane to join that kind of bad crowd?" She asked me

"He's been part of the bad crowd ever since they gave him that stupid lil name , Tick Tock."

"So did you , Nipsey Hussle." She said with an attitude & her one eyebrow raised. I squinted my eyes with a mad look

"I don't see why you're soft on that boy. Mom wouldn't approve this , in-fact she would allow me to use my belt on his fresh yellow ass."

"Mom wouldn't do that & you know that!" I looked him dead in the eye.
