Wicked ways of time.
He laughed on his fate and approached Ishita who was already seated at the farthest corner of the cafe.
"And here came the mannerless man." He removed his glares taken aback by the sweet welcome done by his wife.
"Sabke paas tumhare jaise faltu ka waqt bhi toh nahi hota." He replied throwing his business coat on the empty chair.
(Nothing everyone have free time like you.)
"Isko punctual hona kehte hai Mr Mannerless. Phone check karne ki tak courtesy nahi hai yahan par logo mein." She cursed him for another time.
"Ha ha ha, congratulations. Vaise kya ukhad liya tumne jaldi aakar?" He spat back playing with the keys of his car, observing her facial features from the behind of his reading glasses. "Aur kya baat hai badi desperate ho mujhse milne ke liye?"
(Wow congratulations!!! By the way what have you achieved with it? By the way you're appearing quite desperate to meet with me.)
She narrowed her eyebrows hearing the last line from him. She glared him angrily hating the playful smirk on his face, "Stop giving yourself so much importance." She replied smugly and leaned back on the chair folding her hands against her chest.
"Well not so soon. You have to give me importance atleast for the next six months. Vaise how did it happened? You didn't wished to see my face, right?"
"Trust me my feelings are still same for you." She passed a sugary smile to him, clearly irritated and pissed from him, "but kya kare phooti kismat meri." She smirked enjoying the pissed expressions on his face and placed the order for them.
(I'm a woman with a badluck.)
"Meri ek ghante baad meeting hai, kaam ki baat kar le?" He resumed the conversation with his usual arrogant tone.
(Even i have a meeting after an hour.)
"Sure Mr. We came here for that only." Ishita replied and started to sip her coffee without looking at him.
"Then pack your bags, I will come around eleven to pick you up?"
"What do you mean by pick you up? Are we leaving somewhere?"
"Yes we are going to stay at my new apartment for a while. I think that will be a better place for us." He replied seriously without bringing any taunt or sarcasm.
"But we can live with everyone like we used to."
"I don't want to live there with everyone. Moreover if we stayed there then we might not be able to develope a good bond with Roohi." She remained silent after listening his side, for the first time she had nothing to argue with him.
"Where we are going to stay?"
"Do you remember the apartment I purchased in South Delhi few years back? It's completely renovated now. It's a nice place to stay."
How can I forget that apartment. She smiled weakly hearing his words, they finalised that apartment together some four years back. She still remembered the day when her husband danced merrily after signing the papers. It was their dream to have their own apartment in the posh locality of Delhi, together they weaved the dreams for the apartment. As she remembered they planned to shift there after few months only but that never happened.
"Ok then tomorrow is Saturday, we can plan shifting. Right?" He leaned back on his chair and started to observe her changing facial expressions. The discussion of their apartment must be the reason of the little smile which was dancing at the corner of her lips. He remembered how serious she took his wish and helped him how much can she is. She just finished giving viva that time and she after that she spend her entire time to help him. The house hunting was not easy for them but it proved worth. The three bhk apartment they finalised became their dream for them but he never thought if they would not be able to cherish the dream together.
