— There's been a lot of sadness and angst, so here's a fluffy chapter with Jaemin because there isn't enough of him in this book.

This isn't going to be the best chapter because I'm super tired but I tried.

A light knock sounded on Mark and Chaehyun's bedroom door, prompting Eleven to jump up and bark once as if to give permission to enter. Chaehyun chuckled as the door opened and dropped the last Dorito in his mouth. He was vaguely surprised when Jaemin entered the room.

Chaehyun raised an eyebrow and lifted Eleven off of the space beside him, placing her on his chest to give Jaemin some room to sit down and get comfortable. The younger boy slid off his shoes and crawled onto the bed.

"I need some advice and Chenle told me that you're the best one to go to." Jaemin was visibly nervous about the situation, which Chaehyun responded to by giving a reassuring smile.

"You can tell me anything. I'd rather know what's going on in your life and be sure that you're okay than have you keep it to yourself and suffer because you don't know who to tell. So come on, lay it on me."

Jaemin sighed. "I've been stressed recently. The comments online have been getting to me more than normal, I keep feeling insecure about pretty much everything because of those comments which is putting me off performing, I keep fighting with the boys because of how stressed I am and I'm slowly falling apart."

Chaehyun wasn't surprised as Jaemin thought he would be. In all honesty, Chaehyun expected something like this to happen to one if not all of the Dreamies. They're young and under a lot of pressure and that's normal.

"Jaemin. Do I get a lot of criticism?" Asked the older boy with a curious undertone.

Jaemin hesitated before nodding.

"Have I ended up lashing out quite a lot?"

Once again, Jaemin nodded and shifted to her into a more comfortable position. He didn't know where Chaehyun was going with this, but he decided it was bet to just let the older boy continue.

"What do you think of the comments I receive? The ones that bring down my appearance, call me a bad person, bring down my talent, all that jazz."

Jaemin sat for a moment silently as Chaehyun opened another bag of Doritos, he offered the bag to Jaemin who shook his head and smiled politely. Chaehyun shrugged and stuffed another one in his mouth before turning to look at the younger boy, anticipating his answer.

"I think they're lies. None of what they say is true because you are hard working, you are good looking and you're the furthest thing from a bad person. They couldn't be any further from the truth."

Chaehyun smiled. "Exactly. Which is the reason why I don't listen to them. Comments are comments, Jaemin. Some are nice and some are horrible. But at the end of the day you just have to learn that there's always going to be one troll lurking, trying to hurt you just because you have everything they don't. You're handsome, you have impeccable talent and you're one of the greatest people I've ever met."

Jaemin smiled. Chaehyun had a way of wording things that made it seem like everything was okay. Because for the first time in days, Jaemin felt happy. He felt relieved and normal, like the comments he'd been reading had just floated away.

"How about, you stop reading those comments and you and I hang out for a little while? It's been a long time since we did anything just me and you. Wanna start a new Netflix show like we used to?" The older boy offered.

Jaemin's face lit up like a Christmas tree. He nodded rapidly earning a grin from Chaehyun. Taking in his attire, the older boy shook his head and nodded towards his wardrobe.

"You're not gonna be comfortable in jeans, go throw on a pair of my sweats and a hoodie or something."

Jaemin followed instructions without any hesitation. He slid off the bed and ran towards Chaehyun's closet. It took him five minutes before he left wearing some grey joggers and one of Chaehyun's many Adidas hoodies. Jaemin climbed into bed beside him and turned to the screen.

Once everything was settled with the two covered up and Eleven resting in Jaemin's lap, Chaehyun pressed play.

20 minutes into the episode, Chaehyun was alerted by a soft snore. Turning his head to the left he found Jaemin, cuddling his dog as they both slept peacefully together. The older boy chuckled and decided it was time to get some sleep himself.

After turning everything off, Chaehyun made sure Jaemin was comfortable and warm before allowing his eyes to flutter closed. As if instinctively, Jaemin's arm came to rest over Chaehyun's waist earning a quiet chuckle from the boy.

"I did not take you as a big spoon, Jaemin." Chaehyun giggled at himself before finally allowing his eyes to fully close and it wasn't long before he had entered Dreamland.

________
It's not the best, I'm super tired and have my concentration ripped from me due to some back pain. I literally want to cry at how horrible this chapter went.

I have been thinking about deleting it, so it might not be up for long depending on how I feel later.

Thank you so much for reading, this wasn't proofread but I hope you enjoyed anyway.

You are appreciated 💚
